I'd like to retrofit a Softub with a Balboa retrofit system. Everything is somewhat straight forward except for the jets. I don't have access to a Hydromate so I can look inside to see how the jet function works. Can you help?
2 replaced circuit boards later ad I Just did it! Hot water again!! I got the sonoff temp probe it fit right into the existing hole. I could not find a sonoff with built in ground so had to reuse existing but working great! I have the app set on a temp based cycle and can easily manual override to on demand! I reconnected my bubbles and woohoo!!
I live 350 miles from a dealer and have to ship my motor in. Even if I replace this every month it cheaper than the 2 times I’ve replaced my circuit boards. 😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Ordered the THR320D 20A switch. I hope it can handle the Softub Pump and not burn my house down or anything... OP has not replied, maybe his place burnt down and has no internet now? lol
This worked great for me, not the best video, hard to hear him but something he did got my attention. The part is "Moes Wifi smart temperature switch module with waterproof probe. Got it on Amazon and we're back to hot tubbing with out the pump continueing to cycle on and off.
@@robharris6028 I've had it on now for about 10 days, still working flawless. Keeping the temperature at 103, has never lost wifi connection even though it's on the inside of the insulated pump housing.
I've had it for 7 months now, easy to install and wire, just follow the info they send with it. I'm able to turn on and set the temp on an app on my phone from anywhere.
It's been a year since this video was posted, I've got my WiFi Smart Temperature Switch Module to install next week, was wondering how yours is doing? Thank you.
I think that the 20 amp model would work fine as the pump is only rated to surge to 17 amps. However the 32 amp model would work fine, you would just want to check the dimensions of the device to make sure that it would fit with no issues.
