This was not clearly titled. It is not a tutorial on how to "combine or split pages in a PDF", it is a tutorial on how to combine multiple PDF's into one PDF, or split pages from one PDF into separate PDF's. The combining and splitting demonstrated is at the file level, not the page level. Apparently it is simply impossible to take two 8.5" x 5.5" pages in PDF format and combine them into a one 8.5" x 11" page PDF using Acrobat Pro.
How can I correct a letter that is wrongly recognized in the entire document. For example in Old German the letter "F" is recognized by Finreader 16 as "8"? (I have a problem with other letters depending on the font.) Thanks in advance!
Hi Shawn, thank you for your help the other day! I still need your help please. I'm not doing something correctly. I went into the Digital Signature Properties & selected "Mark as read-only: just these fields" The form fields are still no longer fillable after the first of the two signatories signs their part. Thank you!

I have a question, so I'm trying to use an app that can use the shapes you can draw as well as layering shapes you draw over them so it creates something, but I can't find it and it's within this App, can anyone help me?
@@TheAccessibilityGuy how do I explain, so I'm trying to make a logo for my roommate's employee, which is a Joke Logo, a resemblance of something "perverse," but really, it's something different. I don't have anything beyond a laptop from 2019, and I need specific standards like snapping, shapes I can manipulate, etc. So far, Adobe Illustrator and Canvas can't do shit for me.

Great video - I have the on-going issue with Acrobat rearranging the order of images when moving them UP the reading order, then end up behind other elements like background artifacts, or background color blocks... any suggestions?
I have a 32-page file. I want the first eleven pages to be one file, the next two pages to be another file, etcetera, with a total of six files of different lengths. I can't figure it out! Thanks.
@@TheAccessibilityGuy I still don't get it. I tried to make the first eleven pages a file, which I could do, but then it split the rest of the file into thirds also! I just wanted the rest of the pages to stay intact and I would split the rest as I needed to. FYI, I'm not Adobe savvy :)
If you follow this guide, you will lose all interactive elements (e.g. form fields, check boxes) in your PDF. A better way to resize your PDF would be to use Print Production - Preflight tool in Acrobat Pro. This way you will retain everything from the original PDF and avoid the quality loss caused by reprinting.
This was a great video. Thank you. I've had Otter for a few years and you brought some features to my attention that I was unaware of. Question: I added Otter to my meeting (On Teams - different email address than Otter AI account), but I can't access the full recording, summary, etc. on my dashboard. Thank you! Why do a few of my slides continue to be flagged in the "Reading Order" panel, even after I verify the reading order in the Accessibility Checker, and also verify the reading order with the Arrange Panel feature? Thank you for any insights!
The arrange order goes from bottom up - you confirmed that it matches with the reverse order of the reading order pane? Like the order pane goes from top to bottom, and then arrange/selection panel should go from bottom to top matching the read order panel.
2:05 How to let Otter AI to also record the content that are outputting audio in you earphone/speakers like you are wathcing a youtube. My otter only records the audio from my microphone.
That's a great question! There is a guide on the web somewhere - I think you have to change your computer settings for default mic. But your not crazy - it's super complicated for no reason
That's a great question. I would double check the settings to ensure that content is carried over. I have to be honest, I thoght that information would already be coming through
@@TheAccessibilityGuy I have exhausted the extent of my abilities here which is why I asked you! lol My goal is to be able to hyperlink words to a glossary with a definition available in a mouseover. Unfortunately, the mouseover does not appear to translate into the PDF.
@@MrVanillaGorilla Understood. I did some searching and it appears the screen tip does NOT carry over to PDF. However, if you add alternate text to the hyperlink in word - and then convert, that should handle the tool tip for PDF.

Hey I noticed that you have light blue as the bullet points and the list numbering. Does that pass for color contrast? What contrast do we check for that, large or small text?
@@TheAccessibilityGuy yeah, I'm afraid of that. Wish they'd fix all the bugs and add remediation features found in extensions like Common Look instead of spending all their time on shiny objects like floating menus and AI.
I'm trying to reduce a pdf page size on a Mac, and have watched both the windows version and this one. When I try to reduce the page size I get an error message that says page size may not be reduced.
My first thought is that your images have some unique properties. A common workaround when I get errors with Acrobat is to first print the doc to PDF and get a flattend version of the doc. Then - try this process
