mate cmon, not one of these "transforms" the m140i, these are just opinionated exterior mods. mods that transforms the car are things like.. the LSD, coilovers, brakes, thicker anti roll bars, tyres, decat/remap
spec'd my misano blue 118d to look exactly like this but with Akropovic tips but with oem splitter and skirts and shadowline light kit!! we call it the Mzansi edition in South Africa... this looks insane when seeing others. I also got the red callipers and vbar!
Had one for 4 years, great cars as do-it-all daily's. Unfortunately as I found out myself, after spending thousands upgrading mine, no amount of money can turn it into a sharp handling, M car alternative. And with a straight pipe / decat, you will need a friendly MOT tester as it will fail emissions. So the 12 month MOT supplied with this will 100% be dodgy. This will be a straight line missile, absolutely, a dual carriageway monster. But, even with all the handling upgrades, it wouldn't see which way my standard OG M2 went on a twisty B road.
Everything's been black out. Oh how original, now it looks the same as every other chavved up M140i. My last car was an m140i, running 455bhp/634nm, spent thousands upgrading mechanical parts, but left it looking completely standard, like a real sleeper should. In a straight line it was a missile, but no matter how much I spent and how many mods I did, it would never be a real M car. You can literally do everything possible, underbody and underbonnet bracing, polybush everything especially the wobbly subframe, fit M3 arms for more camber, better dampers to stop the pogo-ing, a limited slip diff, it doesn't matter, it will still never be an M car. I owned my M140i for 4 years, but 7 weeks ago I bought an OG M2. Wow, it is on another level, steering, damping, handling, cornering, just on another level to a modded M140i.
