This is a modern classic step show. That's saying a lot! This is a show that Bruhs from all generations and all chapter sizes can relate to. It has that modern style with some old school flavor; pure energy and showmanship (like any frat should do) but with that unique Alpha style; intelligence, manliness. These men are leaders. Most of all...THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF EVERY G...R...E...A...T STEP SHOW VIDEO!!!! Why? It was filmed in front of real people with real ride or die women in background...ladies who appreciate seeing black men at their best and know that those same men will have their back when they shine. Seriously, go through all of your experience s and those you watch online. Every great show/party is filled with cheers and adlibs and side comments and applause and genuine praise from the crowd. They let you know if it's real. And I'm an old Alpha. I came up in the 80s, pledged in 90s and try to find the common ground with ALL my Bruhs from then and now. I troll RU-vid for classic Alpha shows that bridge the generations. This is one of them cause of how these dudes got down, their with and intelligence, AND cause there is an African tradition of women just appreciating and celebrating real men (regardless of fraternity on that last point).
Wow, it's amazing that the Hollywood Nights Event still occurs at Pi Kappa: I started the event which grew our budget from $300 to nearly $3000 in 1986. The 2nd annual established Pi Kappa as the organization for hosting the single most popular spring event in Southern California. Back then it was called Ebony Entertainment Night. Jimmy D. @@Mc007- He pledged and earned his right to be in the frat just like the rest of them. Pledging isn't easy so obviously not "anybody" can just be there and he wasn't just "let in." So if they recognized him as the best stepper then he's taking the lead. No matter if he's black or not. Are you affiliated? Most of the time when I see people talking about other ethnicities being in NPHC orgs they're not even in NPHC orgs themselves.
