I use mines for live streaming and ect works fire 🔥 wanna see it in action on my live stream let me know and ill post my stream here to let you see ,its good device ,just gotta know how to dig in another world ,your not dealing w a normal dj controller,its definitely a different world when having these .
Do you recommend this device Denon sc live 4, in general, for mixing at home ? And would you say the built in speakers are good enough for home use? I wouldn’t usually entertain silly small speakers but as I can’t really play loud music, where I live, they may work out good for me if sound decent enough. I’ve had 1210’s for 20 years but not used in ages because living situation. Plus I like the idea of giving digital dj’ing a go. I like the simplicity of plugging a usb and mix. Especially if speakers are good enough.
Hey my brother I'm also a dj and I have the same exact dj controller and stuff happens I started as a dj when I was 9 and now I'm 61 and boy ol boy I never loved anything more than that controller but my family.but my brother I feel you when u say your system failed on you because I would've felt the same way but I'm sure when do your next party u gonna turn it out so stop beating yourself up and keep turning the parties out .much love my brother..
What I've noticed is when first connect your laptop, it will play for awhile then outta the blue it will pause and skip and the same when you load another track. What I do is try to work out that kink while I'm testing. I'll have a track playing then keep loading tracks until it starts that bull$hit again... once it start playing correctly I don't have any issues the rest of the night.... for me it works but I think it's because I need a stronger laptop.... stems will put a strain on all this $hit so these latest versions of these software problems are stronger than they were before.... so depending on what you use you might have to upgrade too
First, thank you for sharing and being real! The SC Live 4 seems like it has a lil clitch in it. I'm using VDJ.... and at times it freezes on me.......
I find that using USB is the most reliable with these. I only use my computer to download trax to the memory sticks. Also I only use the wifi feature at home.
Hi dj gatti saw your video and guess what i bought this same unit study it a bit did a gig and kinda felt the same way you did,my problem was there was no internet at the place i played at,so i used hot spot and ut took at 3 minuets or more to download the next song,so now i got a flashdrive,and need to know is it possible to put the songs on my playlist to the flashdrive without a computer, if not how do you put it with a computer .
Dam sorry to hear bro I myself use virtual Dj but I do hava back up flash drive for one of my USB slots just incase ...I used it last night for the 2nd time an I had a problem with virtual Dj but since it was still synced to the laptop the music wasn't effected....definitely have to keep working on the bugs good luck in the future
Denon got great technology but unfortunately they are not 100% reliable at this point, i bought an sc live 2 straight from the box it had issues, got it replaced and the new one gives me some static electricity when i touch the jogs 😂 anyways i found a deal on an sc live 4 so i went and bought it too, fortunately this unit works great when i use it at home, but i will use a backup controller when i go gig with the sc live 4
It's crazy man. I have both The Denon Prime 4 and the SC Live 4. My DP4 has worked flawlessly since I bought it, but my SCL4 froze the first gig I used it. I think it's one of Denon's more defective products.
I love Numark and Denon and been using their stuff for ages, but I hate to admit: When using their gear, a backup controller is crucial!! Over the last 10 years, I've had 4 instances where the failure was so severe, I actually had to take out my backup gear and continue playing with that one. The Numark NV2 was the worst of them all with 3 of the 4 outages I've had. One time, the entire controller just froze and while I strangely was able to continue playing music with it, the lights and screens were all static and the faders didn't work - just the transport controls. The other failure was a classic crash, where the music suddenly stopped and nothing worked at all (even Serato hung up). 3rd time I can't remember what exactly was the issue, but I still decided to pull my backup controller out and continue with it. The thing is, while their stuff is reliable 90% of the time, it's still not quite there to fully replace the club/venue standard Pioneer!
Hello 👋 i was wandering if you can hook up 2 vinyl turntables to this as its got 4 channels? Or can I have 2 decks and mixer and have a lead plugging into the unit ? Cheers
