Building capacity for the US to present a Voluntary National Review (VNR) of its progress achieving successful SDGs outcomes at UNGA is very important. Fostering collaborations at local, states and US national level to gather necessary data will be key!
This is very interesting and important. Thank you. I've worked in tech in S.F. for the better part of 10 years. I'll say that the behavioral sciences are flourishing. Most CMO's have heard of "Kahneman" and "Nudges". Also unsurprising the public hasn't heard about it. And they'd prefer to keep it that way. So shhhh U.N. ;)
I very much support the idea of an open knowledge ecosystem to drive innovation. That said, how might we ensure that the creative individual minds behind novel ideation (if innovation and ideation to benefit mankind are their raison d'être) are actually elevated to meaningful roles in such an ecosystem as a result of their mental labor? Some innovators in the global ecosystem might simply have problem solved for a singular issue relevant to their everyday life. But others may actually have a fierce drive for complex problem solving on a large scale. How does such an ecosystem leverage the mental capital of compassionate problem solvers?
What's your opinion on using something like an exponential axis in the case where you have data over a wide range, but you also want to see subtleties in the variances of data? I am of course assuming that this would be clearly labeled and also you would have horizontal lines to show what's happening you have him clustered closer together at one end of the graph and farther apart at the other end. I once did something like this when I was doing a presentation on the history of the Levant going back about four million years BCE to present day. On the bottom of all my slides I had to running timeline to show where in history we were, but I use exponential scaling so that the first 4,000,000 years wouldn't take up the entire timeline, leaving everything else scrunched near the beginning. My thought was that the closer you got to the present day, the more they were notable events happening in rapid succession (in the early part of the graph there were huge amounts of times between social and technological changes), and also that it mirrored human perception in the way that we think about remembering the past or looking back at the past.
Not sure if anyone will read this but is it possible to improve audio quality in the future? Very difficult to hear from phone. Thank you for the lecture 😊

@@Africawake My understanding from watching the video is that a donor pays for someone to study English. All those fees are pooled together and rewards are given to the ones that attain certain targets. The company makes money by growing the number of users I assume. Like I said, not 100% clear.
Love this! Amazing project! 😊❤️ The potential big impact to society through education (while earning) is just incredible. 😊 I've been following this project since September 2021 and it's just incredible to see their growth, and being part of LMS itself is just wonderful.
