i bought them here newgardenstore.eu/it/frizioni-motocoltivatore/18607-Disco-frizione-15377-trattore-CARRARO-Carro-552-554-602-652-702-6000-280x165x3-5.html They have both new plates. however you can find them on ebay as well. All other stuff like bolts comes from random hardware store.
Pro TIP: If you want more reach: use with Active stabiliazation. this lens will become 302mm ( FF equivlent to 453mm) and if you still want more reach use Clear Image zoom on top, 1.5x to give it: 453mm ( equivlent to 680~mm on a full frame!)
Am găsit acest site românesc, nu l-am folosit niciodată și nu știu dacă este de încredere. Dar ar avea părți de la Carraro. agri.fibg.ro/?s=Carraro+5000
Very nice upload, We had the very same electrical problem with mice in the very same area on our Ford 7600, and would you believe it that my sons 6600 was the damn same, anyway we did the same thing with insulation tape to sort it out, next we also fitted a modern stereo radio and new speakers, we were very lucky to find a pair with the same bolt pattern too🙂
That is very fascinating! Must be a 4 star mice hotel in there, i'm looking to add a 7600 over time. When i find one, first thing i'm doing is cracking open the dashboard.
Thank you! If you look at 37:50 on the movie it already has been changed and exhaust painted. This and lots more will show up in one of the next movies. I live in Belgium.
Loved this... Insta subbed, as i recently purchased a tractor just like this. Ford 4600 with a cab. BTW. Where did you get the manual for this tractor, can you share ?
I remember the first time i used it to clear these overgrown pastures. I was amazed and in awe at how well it did. It's a very simple air cooled tractor. No power steering, no waterpump, only 1 small hydraulic pump. And a live pto with a separate clutch plate for driving and another one for the pto. So very little power is lost. It's not the best in every job. But with heavy pto jobs like this it Truly shines.
@@caprahomestead8449 that is interesting to know it looks a good simple tractor and nothing wrong with that , does what you want it to do and that's what you want , I Remember a old Fordson Major we had and that had a live clutch so the PTO only worked when the clutch was out bit hard for getting the machine you were using running up to speed then you had to get the tractor in gear as fast as you could then off you go , and their was no synchro on the gears , it was hard job with a small baler as you cant slip the clutch if you going through a big lump of hay but it still did the job
i have done many hours on a ford 6600 and we had a 4600 with a loader on it but it did not have a Q cab but the 66 did , i liked ours very much did over 700 acres of ploughing over the years in her and about the same amount of acres mowing , baling , everything really , i hope she does well for you looking forward to see her at work
@@caprahomestead8449 once you get the feel of her and what she will do you will love it , our 4600 had a loader on it but I did use to take it off for some field work , harrowing , spring tine cultivator , tedding out hay , but ours had what they call hear a Lamborn cab not a good as a Q cab , but she was a real work horse
@@caprahomestead8449 and so am I seeing how it all goes for you but its a Ford and it will be just fine well and have to say IH too as i have a IH 674 she is a beauty
I’ve just been through this rear tire/rim restoration on my Massey Ferguson 270 Diesel Tractor with Massey Ferguson 236 Loader. The rear rims had cast weight centres and the tires were loaded with calcium for added ballast. Quite a job that I hope I never have to repeat. One rim was so rusted around the valve stem I had to source a used replacement. My rear wheels have the 4 rail power adjust feature too.✌🏻👍🏻🇨🇦
Love your videos of your 4600 Q,but wouldn't it be easier to bring wheels to a tyre centre let them take the hard work off you!,do put up more videos!!🚜📹🎬🤝👍
Brilliant and very interesting project on a realy brilliant tractor that 4600 Q!,have a similar tractor myself a 3600 Q,2wd,floor change, power steering
It looks like you removed the tyre from the wrong side of the rim, on the other side is the drop centre, which is a smaller diameter. This gives more space for the tyre to fit over the rim.
great vid but being a employee working at a ford agri engineers my experience felt it would have been better to build the rim and centre then fit the tyre and tube then finaly fit it on to the tractor axle! but hey you did it anyway! tremendous effort.
Having painted a Case SC, whole tractor, l do appreciate all the prep work, but l think l would've just left the rims be, and just painted the inside of the rims with used motor oil. Gotta feeling in a month they're going to look the same as the original, sometimes an old tractor thats is nice as nice as yours, is perfect. Especially working out in the fields instead of sitting pretty in a museum somewhere. PS rear tires are alot easier to change while mounted on tractor. Take care and good luck 👍
You are right about the rims, if even just for a moment they looked so nice though :-). I like old equipment and the best way to preserve them is to give them a job. I'm prepping this tractor to be my main workhorse for the next 30 years at least.
@@caprahomestead8449 l hear ya, did my Case (was an absolute mess), 30years ago, I'm over 60yrs now and it has aged very well, been barn kept, little fade, like an old pair of jeans. Still pulls my drag behind disc every spring and fall, l can still remember how pretty it looked with new paint. Hope you have as much fun and pride in your journey that l had. Take care
