We will find out! I have had 3 shoulder surgery’s and my Bowtech solution 59lb and my Bowtech carbon one 69lb same 446 grain Easton 6.5 match grade with Deadmeat and SeVr 1.5 are 15 fps difference! I plan on shooting the Solution with the Carbon one as a backup? 60 yards max range! 29.5 inch draw?
Won't you also hit to the left or right of the aim point? For shooting at a single distance, if you hit 5 inches high and 5 inches to the right, wouldn't this just mean that you aim 5 inches low and to the left?
Can you post the weights of your bow builds? My Phase 4 33 with quiver+arrows, front and rear stablizers and feet weighs 7lbs 12oz and I find it a little heavy to carry around all day.
I have the lift 33 and mainly got it for 3d and Western hunting. I have an elite omnia that I love for whitetail. Anyway... Do you like the Matthews stabs? I got aae mountain series and saved a lot of money and I feel like they're better stabs. I just can't see spending $500-$600 for stabs when there seems to be better stuff out there for a lot cheaper.
Great review…I have been looking at this release for a few now….about to pull the trigger and get it….thank you for this review as it helps show the product…😊
A question…do any of you guys “or Korbin” know anything about using “liquid lock” to help keep the servings on the string around the can locations from separating?? Info appreciated….thank you😊
I had my phase 4 strings replaced a few months ago with a well known establishment. I’m very surprised that the items you pointed out were the same on mine. Thanks for your awesome video and demeanor. By the way where did you find your Folding stubby Allen Set. If you sell them I’ll order one from you.
I swapped over from 85% to 80% on my V3. Didn’t like the feel of the valley with the 85%. The draw is much smoother and I have a more controlled let down if needed.
Great job on explaining how to set this sight up but would you have anything on turning the reheostat light on for the react slider pins, it seems different than the sight housing light
Do you have any recommendations on index finger releases? I currently have a Scott Wildcat that is reaching end of life and having a hard time deciding what to go with next (spot hogg tuff guy, Truball beast, b3 hawk, etc)
The reduction in let of is done because it really improves accuracy not because of any speed benefits. It is especially obvious if you are shooting at 50 or more yards. The extra weight acts as a stabilizer and makes more shot a lot more easier to hold on target. I have even moved my module 1/2 more in order to reduce the let off to close to 50 % . This was not a fun experience because there was no valley at all. The shots were accurate but I was not able to hold it long enough to aim properly. I would say at least for me around 70 % is the sweet spot I can shoot all day my bow and aim well and have good amount of hold weight to keep the bow stable. Everyone should try this it can be a free improvement of accuracy .
Is the bohning cauldron worth a shot? The kit seems good with all the diff plates but i have a Bitz with the AAE reciever and havent seen much on the cauldron jig
I like it. This is my second year using it. It’s pretty much like Arizona ez fletch but it comes with straigh, 1 degree left and right 3 degree left and right so I think it’s worth the money
I set my enkore to 75% let off yesterday. Keeps me in my shot and my form tight. Used to shoot 80% that 5% is a huge difference. Really liking it so far. I also hate that hump and dump on higher let off mods.
Realistically how much better will 5% make you hold on target better ? Im guessing not much but im not a target archer. Id like to see a top end shooter test the difference.
Good review and discussion of the pros and cons. Personally I’m a Hamskea fan, for my use case I think there’s less to go wrong and they’re easier to make field repairs if something does happen. One con for the Hamskea (older ones like the Trinity) not mentioned is that they can have clearance issues with some quivers.
