This channel is by Mr Long, an Information Technology (IT) & Computer Applications Technology (CAT) teacher from South Africa. He teaches CAT and IT to Grades 10 (age 16) to Grade 12 (age 18) at a high school in Gqeberha (previously Port Elizabeth) & has taught computer related subjects for over 15 years which includes the development & presentation of computer courses in New Zealand, collaborating with text book companies and development of study support material.

Hey Mr Long. I tied opening the project file and it asks me where I would like to view the file. I use Delphi 12.1 but that shouldn't be the problem. Any solutions I can use?
If a box pops up asking for a value then it means you have misspelt one if the field names incorrectly. Either an s is missing or there is a space etc. Double check the spelling of any field that you have typed out.
Mr Long. I'm running into the problem of my text file not showing up, despite me doing all the code properly. I save the text file as 'Indie', then type it as 'Indie.txt', yet the code doesn't recognise it. Do you have a solution for this, sir
hallo mr long i just want to ask at 2.2.1 are gave icount a value of zero before the loop than made it zero later on at the end of the loop will they penalise you for that
mr long at 1.2 i used trunc and ned 2 other lines of code that look different from the memo but it works and gives correct answers will they still mark it correct
@@Benis-v2p yah that's an amazing idea, I hope he does that too, because the content in paper 2 is too much and we don't know where the marks are being allocated, and the examiners are always asking for new questions
@MrLongITandCAT After putting in my range, I must go to the other table to get my criteria right. But when I click my other table like you did the system thinks I clicked "ENTER" & it gives me an error
Good day mr long for question 3,5 , after doing it the same way you did, it said that i have entered too few arguments for the roundown function. Should i add another number for it to work?
The rounddown function needs a number at the end for how many decimal places to round down to. So if you want to round down to the nearest whole number or 0 decimal places you need =ROUNDDOWN( <formula/value> , 0 )
The absolute goldmine that is your channel sir should NOT be overlooked. Students can fully teach themselves cat and IT without the help of teachers/an institution :D I literally understand Access because of you sir so thank you so much for your resources and for making them freely available <3 Many students will finish school and will remember how u have helped them get that +80% for cat/it :)
