Scott is a Marine and retired from DoD working with Marines in Okinawa, Japan in August 2020. He and Allison decided to retire in the U.S. to enjoy full time RVing. We chose a 2021 Grand Design Momentum 397th as our new home. We are empty nesters with 4 adult children and a grandson. He served in the USMC for over 9 years as a H.A.W.K. Missile Operator and an Air Traffic Controller. She has degrees in healthcare admin and special education and loves working with autistic and severely disabled children.
We have been stationed at MCAS Yuma twice and MCAS Futenma in Okinawa, Japan twice. Jarhead became a civilian Air Traffic controller. We moved to Georgia, Alaska, and back to Okinawa. We decided we can’t stay in one place and would enjoy traveling in an RV. We plan to work part time while traveling. We also enjoy making friends and sharing our adventures.
Thank you, sir. You did help me a lot. I am a first time on a motorhome. And I did have that same problem stinky water ... I did what you Show on the video in a work's really good thank you once more time.
Pretty cool! We did not realize Fairbanks had so much to do! LOL @ the bloopers at the end when Allison and a bug in her hair and Scott had no idea where y'all were! LOL 😂~ Shion and Matthew
The ice museum was really cool. I agree, I probably wouldn't make it an hour either in that room... LOL! I need to try an apple martini now. Looks like you guys are having a good time. 😊
Your bloopers made me smile. I can see how frustrating it can be to re-take intros and other speaking parts! Thanks for sharing. Did you know that Sommers in Alaska ( RU-vid) lives near Fairbanks, AK. It would have been nice to have you meet up. Thanks for sharing 🖖🏻😘👍🏻🙏🏻
I was there in the '80s, and there was a place Ocean tacos the location was pretty close to BC Taco Charlie's, and it was better. I miss those tacos so much. I think about them all the time.
I was referring to Ginger's shirt honoring our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was wondering where you carry your 55-gallon drum o mosquito repellent? I'm thinking it's possible to carry smaller containers and they now have repellent fueling stations...😊 God Bless!
Hahaha we have only had to use the Thermacel a couple of times pretty lucky I guess but when we lived up here they were here but not on as huge a scale as everyone seems to say or talk about in other videos hahah
I absolutely love Ginger's shirt!! I appreciate all your responses, thank you. I was wondering if you guys were stationed in Alaska in the USMC? If so, I wasn't aware of the USMC being there. When I was stationed at Shemya Island AFS and processing through Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage I was under the impression that only the USAF and USA were up there.....Semper Fi amigos
People do shots from Bellybuttons but never heard of shots from, er ah you know! PS I DON’T DRINK! PS AS WE SAID IN THE ARMY TO OUR USMC BROTHERS: SIMPLIFY FELLAS!
