My main focus is the Bejeweled series, most well known for high scores, but I'll post videos on whatever I feel like documenting, usually a crazy moment or an interesting topic. Previously known as Boo Piper 1➁0.
I don't have words of how incredible you are by breaking your PB's, big congratulations man. 🎉 (seems like that one dream I had about you getting 14 Mil got actually true)
(Sorry for the late reply, I completely forgot about this.) Since this game is no longer being sold, it's archived in the Bejeweled Archive. docs.google.com/document/d/1AAt3zYMpdDcvCtafZuxDkBtfGeDvSOXxeJsnAsUL9uw/edit?usp=sharing Note: Since the archive contains the trial version for PC, you'll have to edit the partner.xml file to get around the limits.
Wait was my RNG actually that bad? (I know x15 was pretty rough) Most of my runs that make it to sudden death are 11-12mil these days, with the occasional 13mil.
@@softestcatmaybe its the x15 making me think so idk, I'm so used to your speed that anything that isn't constantly killing columns looks blah (looking at your wr though, you actually got more columns than even this run, which is shocking as hell to me tbh so maybe I'm just a bit off)
Mostly just planning out my moves well. The goal is to aim for matches that will let me set up more matches, while avoiding matches that take away opportunities for more matches. Playing top to bottom is generally a good approach here, I like to save/stockpile moves near the bottom and never use them unless I have to. I don’t think it’s possible to get to level 20 100% of the time, though you can get there pretty frequently. My highest score on this is ~7mil @ level 64, and I got over 1 million in Bejeweled 2’s Original mode while playing live a while back (that run still hasn’t been finished, though I haven’t worked on it for a while).
At what level in Classic does the progress bar drop back like in level 37 of Action? I forgot what level, since I rarely play Bejeweled 2 now because of school distracting me.
Bejeweled Twist DS caps at level 99, on the PC version you can go a few million levels before the progress required overflows and you get levels that have the default minimum for a while, though this isn't really a maxout. There's also the score limit of 2,147,483,647, but since scoring isn't directly tied to level progress it'll happen on different levels for different players if one were to play that far.
The boards on x8 were pretty bad, and that combined with only 1 +5 showing up in 30 seconds is really unlucky. Looking back, there was a way I could’ve grabbed the +5, and maybe get enough matches to trigger the Blazing, but I didn’t see it at the time.
I'm on level 623 right now, haven't been playing too much but level 700 would still take me a while to reach, considering these levels are well over 2 hours long now.
Just downloaded it 3 days ago, and I can say... the 4096 tile IS crazy. I thought getting the 2048 means you automatically win, but... welp, this is a different level of craziness. I can only get 512 before running out of moves -_- EDIT: Ugh, i meant to say the *16384* tile, damn it! >_<"
Generally, I try to make matches at the top of the board first, look for opportunities to create more valid moves, try to build Hypercubes, and try to preserve Hypercubes for as long as possible.
@@softestcat Ok, thank you for clarifying because a part of me suspected that you cheated your way to the top, I'm not saying you did I just suspected, y'know?
Well, hot damn! I play Lightning only and twice or thrice I hit slightly over 7 millions (I stand on an average 3-4 millions) and felt like a demi-god...Had the "brightest" idea to come here and check BJ3 world record and now I feel like a rookie again! 🤣🤣
Well, it is taking me lots of practice. I've been playing Bejeweled 3 since 2013/4. Back then I remember people making crazy stuff in Blitz using the Elite Technique. I never decided to learn it. For some reason I thought that it was not right or something. Very reciently, like 2 or 3 months ago, I find this video. I got somewhat interested in trying to do it. So I dedicated this month in practicing. I can do it sometimes. But most of the time I can't do it. I can't even do it on Lightning Mode or Blitz. The speed is just too much for me to recognize the patterns. So yeah. The point is that RU-vid recommended me this video again so I decided to check it out and leave a comment. Thank you for making me love Bejeweled 3 even more! I really like your videos. It's kinda crazy that I've been playing this game for half of my life and I still love it. So yeah. I will keep practicing. Thank you once again. And good luck!
