It is now 2024 and I am 83 !!!! years young and married to Mandy, 20 years younger!. This channel is a mix of videos looking at a few of the things that have happened in my life and things I am doing now. Hopefully it will still be here when I have left this life and maybe some of my off-spring will watch the videos and remember me. I have visited over 90 countries, worked and lived in some and had enjoyable holidays in others. I loved sailing, have learned to fly (solo) and driven racing cars but best of all I have two fantastic Daughters, three lovely Granddaughters, one Great Grandson and a Great Granddaughter . It has been a mixed but interesting life, so far....... watch this space!!!!!☺
this is absolutely brilliant. our icemaker had no water flow to the tray. I thought the pump had gone until I tried this technique. No idea we had that secret reset switch! Pump is definitely working. The tray is filled up with water and I await my ice cubes with anticipation thank you so much for posting this.
Very helpful. I had the same problem with my LG but the icemaker is positioned at the back and you can actually see the filling tube. So I used a hair drier to achieve the same results.
Hi. I used this video several times, but on my plumbed fridge the reset button wont work after a special sequence on/of with power. I cant find the recepie now. Somebody remember the sequence on power of/water/close door ore something like this?

Well detected Al 😊. I have spent a lot of my life with and on boats. When my youngest daughter was just 2 years old she crewed for me in my Enterprise sailing dinghy and we won the race !! At the dinner party she suggested that next year we should have another sail together. I am looking forward to that. Cheers Michael

I love your comment and shall take on board your aging method. Funnily enough, having seen those peddle kayaks I have been watching videos about them and am very tempted. It seens you can even get a electric motor for them and even a sail !!! Wow, that wouod suit me. Cheers Michael

Thanks! Very helpful and wholesome video. I could sadly not get the water flowing again by re-inserting the water tank no matter how many times I tried. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the tubes that transport the water from the tank to the ice maker run along the bottom of the left door and they're connected by a plastic nozzle. You can disconnect the tubes from the nozzle to let any air (I guess) that's trapped there escape, then with the tubes disconnected, run the pump for a while (put a towel down!). That finally did the trick for me!

Born and grew up there. It's not what it used to be the market was much bigger growing up. Museum/ castle meadows/ Linda vista gardens/ mountains walks still lovely. The high street changed a lot and has so many cafes.
Thanks for the comment. I first visited Abergavenny in 1945 aged 4 and then many times after that and it has changed. It is a shame I didn't go on a better market day but I had other things going on. Regards Michael
@michaelchartres Tuesday used to be the big market day they used to attract all the valleys and bi's loads English in as was in the town hall and overspill of car park at the back too..but that was when the cattle market was in town opposite. They removed cattle market and built a morrisions. The museum has actually expanded as think my mam said 4 floors now as family still live there. I live in south west and my kids enjoyed castle ruins/ gardens/ museum and river on the weekend. The sugar loaf has vin yards if you like wine and holiday cottages. Not sure you had chance but next time you visit fo St Mary's church street just off cross street high St near bus stations and train station that's a real treat so much history there.

Thanks for letting me know. If the ice in the pipes was not too cold you are right, the whole procedure is not necessary. You can even fix it by simply leaving the door open long enough but that is not such a good idea for the rest of the stuff in the freezer, cheers Michael

Sorry about the bad luck. I am surprised a branded product like that has failed on its first attempt. I wonder if you could remove the disk and insert it into the dvd slot on an older laptop. Pity they no longer put these slots on newer machines. Cheers for now Malcolm
Thanks for your comment Malcolm. I discovered (by watching numerous RU-vid videos) that the problem was with the disk itself. How it got damaged I shall never know because I have always been very careful when handling external drives, I have now replaced with SSD portable unit. It is much smaller and far more robust. Hello Chris. The maps came with the boat hire. We used Le Boat but I believe other hire companies in the area also provide them. You can also find them on line on Le Boat's website. Thanks for watching and have a good party in August, Michael
@@michaelchartres no harm in trying,... you'll not loose all your data in one go,...whatever saved,.. will be your luck,.. some drives can be loaded on external enclosures,... wd, toshiba are soldered to the pcb
