I moved to Portland from Canada last year, and the biggest part of my heart was so excited to feel the past magic, even just energetically, of Hazel playing here. Just knowing this is where this sacred magic unraveled makes this city even more beautiful. Hazel will always be my very favorite band ❤🙏

Yo estuve ahi, era del palo de Fun people, Massacre, mas alternativo, pero ese dia fuimos con un amigo que tenia entrada libre en Cemento porque creo que conocia a un patova llamado ¨chiquito¨un gordo enorme jaja y fuimos, me flasheo las bombas y el humo dentro de Cemento porque las banda que yo iba a ver ni pintaban con esa onda.
Caught this tour at the Daily Grind in KC. No Doubt opened up... I'm serious. The Fargo boys lambasted them mercilessly onstage for pulling up in a giant tour bus bigger than the coffee house they were playing at.
The guys from Hella were in a band called Legs on Earth, I saw them in Nevada City, CA in 1997. They were awesome, but sounded more like Korn than GHS at that time.... With a better singer! The guy had Prince vibes.
This is pretty much the same setlist I can recall from the Summer 2009 set in Davis, CA @ Plainview Station (in a rural field area between towns, they came on at sunset-dark).. glad to see it again, Wooden Shijps and Nero’s Day at Disneyland’s band had some good sets among others like Pregnant (would love to find an audio link to his simple song “Do That”(?).. I think it was called). KDVS college radio used to host OCS and many others for small house-shows and commercial gigs around that time ⚡️Thank you!
