Paul David Washer (born 1961) is an American Protestant Christian evangelist with a Calvinist theology affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
Paul is just reminding us that some things will change when you actually give your life to God....I stopped cursing and lying and stealing for example over time and im still growing and changing.....he isn't saying we earn salvation, he is just saying most people never change or grow and that isn't a good sign of true repentance.......the Bible Says we will hate things we once loved....do you have any changes that occurred when you surrendered to God? God bless you I come in peace and love not arguing or putting you down....Paul is mis understood alot.....we need to hear about God's love and his wrath for those who reject him or honor him with their lips but their hearts are far from him....we all fall short yes, but not all of us really love and know God......its about relationship not religion or the law.....Satan has caused alot of confusion......
His comment about being in a situation where the dad does not care... Where he recommends going to her pastor or someone in authority is actually really good advice. I used to think asking the dad was just a sign of respect but having an older man to set wise and godly boundaries in a relationship is extremely valuable. You would be a fool not to have someone older, wiser, and more godly not giving input into the relationship. It doesn't mean everything they say will be correct but they certainly know more than you and the value of having people be able to speak into a relationship should not be understated.
It is Jesus Christ and His alone to judge every man. Not Paul Washer or the inquisitions…just Christ, He will judge us all…I will examine myself, I’m not wasting time trying to see who is doing the best job of being Christlike.
One more thing. When you said Jesus knocking is not refering to your heart you did not explain that at all and went nowhere with it. Him coming in and dining with us meaning communing in the spirit seems like the very obvious interpretation of this allegory. It really very clearly does mean that and you seemed to contradict your previous point that went nowhere with that.
Great sermon. You are very spirit-filled and absolutely correct. I would love to attend your church. Please, expand upon "you are charismatic if you believe in supernatural revelation". That can not be what you actually mean, because it is ridiculous. The entirety of scripture is proof of supernatural revelation. The spiritual gift of prophecy and discerning spirits are both real and biblical. All of these would constitute "supernatural revelations". All of us our only human, and no one can expect you to be perfect. This is, however, a massive flaw in your ministry if that is actually your stance. That is not biblical at all. "Through Christ I can do all things." "If anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask and receive it." Your own lack of faith betrays you, brother, respectfully. God bless you.
@@arfermo853 What does it mean to be in Christ? That you prayed to Him one time and went on your merry way? You didn't watch the video or if you did you didn't understand it at all. This comment is really sad and misinformed.
