I bought this unit in the lighter, (natural, silver) stainless color. Looks really good. But the LG's marketing images of this unit are absolutely deceptive regarding the color of the 'mirrored finish' of the glass door. It isn't a normal, silver mirror color. Rather, it's a dark mirror color, if that makes sense. This dark mirror still looks fine with the silver, stainless color of my doors, and we like it fine. However, be aware that it is much darker than the silver color of the surrounding metal of the left door and freezer drawer. It’s probably a better match on the black stainless version. This counter-depth still has plenty of room for a large pizza box on the shelf and we are completely happy with the size (Although our previous fridge was also counter depth, so it's not like we downsized to something smaller than we were used to). So don't anyone be afraid of the shallower, counter-depth version, which I think is about 26 cubic feet. Some people have commented that the counter-depth version's doors strike the front of their counter top when they open all the way back. These are thick doors; and when open fully, they do travel rearward towards the counter top. Our counter tops extend away from our sheetrock wall about 25 1/4" and the doors to NOT strike our counter. There is still about 3/4" clearance remaining between the open door and the counter. Our fridge is pushed very close (almost nearly) to the sheetrock wall.
This video is accurate I believe it's a family focused company that cares about the people that work there. I don't work there but I know many of the people you see in the video and what they say is real and true. These are decent people and I know because as a subcontractor/installer for them they have shown me nothing but grace, respect, and kindness.
I just got this beautiful washer & that feature runs for 8 hours wasting electricity. Leaving the door open & shutting off the light is free. 🤷🏻♂️ Also, the warm & hot water settings are still cold! Stop trying to control us! 😒
Just to let everyone know, the Ultra Fresh Vent system does not do a Damn thing, the Washer stinks like every other Washing Machine. It does Nothing. I’ve owned one for 6+ months now and I thought it would be a good idea at first, being there is No Fan Pushing air through the Drum it’s a novel idea with no backbone. On top of the annoying beeps, while it’s supposedly doing some thing after the cycling of the door after a load of wash. Their matching dryer is no better. It rattled from day one. The front sheet metal is loose on the body of the dryer. My last washer and dryer was a pair of Kenmore elite HE3’s these, I guarantee you will not last near as long. Also, the controls are annoying if you walk by and just barely touch them by accident, it will change the cycle midstream. The settings on the dryer are a nightmare. Overall, personally, I guess you get what you pay for. These are a far cry from a decade or two ago washing & Drying machines.
This is by far the worst washer I’ve own. It uses so little water, that the clothes never get cleaned, so you must use multiple cycles, or your clothes will still be dirty and have residual detergent on them. Worst of all, this washer will stink badly of mold, if you don’t use it at least every 2 days that the smell will sink into your walls. I was out of town for 2 weeks and I still can’t get rid of the moldy smell. I must have ran 2 bottles of bleach through it with no respite from this terrible smell.
If you understand how a dishwasher works, and what it actually needs to do it's best job, you can make the lowest cost dishwasher work as good as the highest priced brand. Take it from a technician with over 35 years experience.
You are so correct! Dishwashers and Washing Machines use soap and water to clean. I try telling my family and friends (usually to no avail) that all the buttons and added on crap are expensive fluff (in my opinion). It's all just soap and water. Thank you for your comment.
Severely disappointed with KitchenAid dishwasher since I bought it 3 years ago. Third rack is useless. We removed it. Just ordered a Bosch and trying to wait patiently.
Any way to automatically dry the drum after the wash is done? Manually pressing the vent button doesn't always occur. It would be just as easy to leave the door open. Ideally the washer would detect it is wet, wash is done, and automatically start drying the drum. No button press.
question for u my whirlpool dishwasher has apart that's broken and has a law suit on it ... would it be better to replace the. part our just buy another dishwasher for 400 bucks part is 100 150 what brand do u suggest 600 dollar budget ?
We had a Samsung front load washer that went out in three years. the tub bearing was what went out, and the new one only last a year before it started showing signs of going out. We are now going with the GE 850 series front load set. So Far so good.
I need to baypass the prewasch in a front load wascomat , it is possible 125, It is a medium washing machine between the small ones and the large ones, I think 125. I knew that in the small washing machines you can remove a jumper on the timer electronic board of two jumpers that they have, one of the two when removing it eliminates the prewasch. Mine does not have jumpers on the electronic board of the timer. What I can do?
