Thank you so much! Here's the track. You should also check out Greg Howe's recent upload of him improvising over the track. Cheers! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zDiOG5SLND8.htmlsi=8K3ROU3rEJZSSZBZ
Hi, I'm a guitar player recently diagnosed with focal dystonia in my right hand when using a pick. So I'm learning how to play with my fingers and doing a lot of legato, I'm worried that it might also impact my left hand now that it's doing most of the work. What is your experience with that ? Also really great playing from you, I just discovered your channel and I'm happy to find people that are able to continue develop their playing even with this condition. Thank you
Hi Lucas! I had the same worry as well but I've had this for about 15 years now and my left hand is still fine. Legato is the only thing that's keeping me afloat at the moment. It's a very slow progress but I am able to strum now. Look up Dr. Farias. He help me retrain my hand. He's got a website where he shares concepts on how to recover. Good luck, man. Keep me updated.
Hey! I found you thru searching for Line6 clarity amp demos. You are an amazing musician. I have some sort of undiagnosed involuntarily movement disorder that is triggered mainly upon sudden movement or excitement. I went to a neurologist and they told me it could a form of dystonia. I think what I have is more like PKD (the D being dyskinesia). Anyway, I thought it was cool to see another Filipino guitarist killin it while also having some other “thing”. But your videos playing the line6 clarity are insane. How is your dystonia now? And what are the sort of symptoms?
Hi Ian! I thank you so much for the kind words! I appreciate it! It’s a very slow but steady process. I’m able to strum now but still cannot do it with a pick. If you’re interested, I can meet you through zoom or Skype so I can show you the symptoms and progress I’ve made. I also checked out your instagram! Man, I love your playing! Gave you a follow there as well!
