No, next to latest🙂. There's an Electro 6D 73 up on KSL right now for $1,800. This is the 5D. I don't use it's full capability. But I understand the 6D improvements are minor and they dropped some features that power users liked from the 5D. There's a much newer Fender/Rhodes out now too. rhodesmusic.com/product/rhodes-mk8/?CoCD-PPSl=bfDd-dyhq&bfDd-dyhq=zFUf-Pskw&j6ze-8Vlt=4XMb-IhTY&oK6Y-asRb=bjkV-OGta&jG7J-ExmY=VoHD-6KJ3&YwO3-BFJw=eCWS-zAkw&DTTL-sKPI=W0P1-nCKw&W0P1-nCKw=EVri-vfvu&lbEE-ArPs=Weiw-mzhZ. Mine's from the early '70s. It's underneath the Nord😉. Why I'm not playing that? Because I'm focused on organ and my Hammonds are both at the warehouse. I understand Nord is one of the best, but it ain't a real tonewheel.
That’s the short version with essentially just my Improv. This is just two times through the form. Nothing I played here was much like anything I’d played before. I had an idea of where I was going and tripped up in the first measure and went off somewhere… somewhere I wouldn’t have expected.😆 _______________________________ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oZpVmalju_o.html THIS one is a review of all the exercises I do in a new key. I wanted to do the tune with the exercises in the most common key it’s played in. This is the LONG version😉. _______________________________ As an organist, I’m hoping for some feedback on my right hand comp. I do a 3/7 shell, recently I learned that am alternating A and B forms with those. 3/7 then 7/3 when moving in 4ths. I also do what I’ve been calling a 9th comp: 3/5/7/9, again alternating with 7/9/3/5 when moving in 4ths. idk how to describe the rhythms I’m playing they’re a bit more than a pad. I’m playing louder here than what I think I should be when backing that alto. I’m doing that to demonstrate the chord structures I’m using. Normally I think I should be varying the volume, with the baseline be quieter than this. I welcome thoughts on any of this comping stuff. But, remember that I’m barely hanging on with these, adding in #/b 5ths an +/-9ths and 13ths (alt chords) may overwhelm me🙄 ______________________________ I’m torn about what to do with the next sessions. I want to put Equinox into my “Book”. The C#m like in RB 6th Edition version, NOT the C version like earlier RB 5th and earlier editions😉. The work with altered and more complex changes is great, but it slows me down and isn’t as immediately useful, so I’m probably going to use the Equinox changes and alter the exercises to match it’s changes. That’s, essentially, the same exercises as in the Mr. P.C. sessions. Then I’m thinking I’ll take a second pass at the MBA program working on the more complex changes. This month I’m also planning to put in 10 minutes a day on the Monthly Standard, Monk’s Well You Needn’t because a couple of the Cats that do my Workshops really like the tune. I’ll add that into our book soon too. Realistically, if I can get a bass line and 3/7 and 9th comps down by the end of the month, I’ll consider that a success. @@stevelindeman8663 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UtI9tbXvTHE.html This was an embarrassing improve performance. But it was also the first run with the new 360 camera. It'll be nice to be able to change angles with just th eone camera.
Most of them! I got this tune up to 200bpm in all 12 keys before recording this in Bb. I'm pretty sure the melody is exactly the Bb Pentatonic Scale. In Eb it is all, and only the black keys. (In Bb it uses the white F.) How did you figure that out? Did you play along? You don't have perfect pitch, do you?
Yes, as frustrating as it can be at least they give you the space. This is the advantage of using the lane properly. People are dead set on doing something stupid and you can't change that, but you can carve out your space and have somewhere to go when they express their stupidity.
Awesome flight man, Loved the video. You throw it much harder than I do as well. Could even help to throw it with just enough power to get it to return. This might also help keep it from climbing too much at the end of flight. With just the right amount of breeze it will still float above you for a catch. Again great video. I'll be sending you $10 in a moment.
