All the bad things they hear about our city is a lie or a lot of exaggerations. Chicago is clean, beautiful and a generally safe city. I loved the video. It was super beautiful and looks like everyone had a great time.
Another Great vlog!👍🏿 You always capture the essence of the event youre doing. Your friend is cute, in a nerdy-sort of way... I don't mean any disrespect either. Its cute & endearing... Looks like you guys had tons of fun. Keep posting✌🏿
@@KarenDEverHeard Lord knows we have to grab our great weather- when we can...👍🏿 I had some friends in for the DNC & they Marveled about Chgo. I should've made a vlog😔. Guess I was too busy having fun😄 You ever go to the Criskindle Market in the Daley Plaza in the Winter? It's an Outdoor German market around the holidays. I caught some nice weather 1-weekend last year. I went there & then to Marshall Fields to look at the Xmas windows. We used to come downtown from Oak Park to eat inside Marshall Fields and take home Frango Mints.😋 The Chris Kindle fest was fun🍻. Something to think about...
@@Gee-sm8ni I have never been. I want to the that this year-the Christkindlmarket. It looks so fun. Ah!!, Marshall Fields, I miss the meat loaf and the mac n’ cheese and the mint chocolates. I am looking forward to the holidays. You mentioned Oak Park. It is beautiful town close to the city.
@@KarenDEverHeard Ahh, Ok, if you know about Marshall Fields? Then you know about the Pot pies 😋 We'd get dressed up & hop the Lake Street El into the city. It was always something my family looked forward to. I would say this about the ChrisKindle Market. I got lucky or unlucky. When I went, it was a Saturday, the weather was gorgeous, sunny & high 40's which meant it was super crowded. The line to get in moved fast but I thought I was going to a concert, it was so many people 😄. But I had a great time, drank some German beers, ate stuff I'd never eaten before & the vibe was great. ____ Yeah, I grew up in Oak Park. My Parents still live there. Funny thing. We moved there when I was young. The transition From The hustle & bustle of the city, to the #extreme quiet of Oak Park was hard getting used to😆 I guess I #really missed it because after I left home for College. The first place I moved to{was}back to the city, in the Wicker Park area. Wicker Park is #another fascinating area of Chgo. Great neighborhood, close-in & close to everything. Now I'm out South in the Beverly neighborhood. A neighborhood very similar to Oak Park. just a Commuter train ride away from Downtown Chgo... Always a Pleasure talking about a City we both love. Have a #GreatLaborDay✌🏿
@@Gee-sm8ni yes,the potpies were amazing!! It’s nice to talk about places and things we are both familiar with. I spent a lot time in Oak Park. The downtown changed a bit. I heard there was a Marshall Fields there on the corner of Harlem and Lake. And I believe the clock might be there still.
We enjoyed watching. Thank you. Also ended up watching your Chicago vlogs and the girls said they can’t wait to see all those places during a summer because we came there during winter before
I live about 40 miles north of Chicago. Chicago really is a beautiful city. A night cruise up the Chicago River is spectacular. I haven’t been to Chinatown in years. Time to get back to the city.
Lil Too much Trump for my tastes but I'm glad you explained that you live in the Chgo Burbs & still enjoy coming into the city. #TrueStory it had been a few years since I came Downtown. I saw that Monstrosity across from the London House, with that Garish sign & it ticked me off. *#ItKindaRuinsTheSkyline* *& I couldn't remember what* *Used to be there? I was* *About to leave & it hit me.* *The Old Chgo Sun-Times* *Newspaper Building was gone😔* *Anyways* *Going downtown is always* *a great time. Take care✌🏿*
@@KarenDEverHeard The Downtown area has such great 'symmetry'. The combination of old(er) buildings & the new are in harmony, for the most part... I don't have to tell you how cool the view of the river is(Especially) at night. It's so spectacular & romantic even. I just think that Garish sign sticks out like a sore thumb. Tacky, if you want to be honest... But, whatever, I guess.😏 I still love my City...
This is the 2nd video I've watched tonight of yours. I'm going to make a prediction. By 2034, you'll be living in 1-of those high-rises in the city.😊 Your style seems more *Suited for Chgo(than)* *"Naperville".* Enjoy the rest of your summer✌🏿
Great editing, fun camera angles, good music! A very good day in the life kinda vlog! I enjoyed it! Keep doing what you are doing and the subscribers will come along!
Hello, I watched every video of your RU-vid channel very carefully, very good. But your channel views are less. Because the videos of the channel are not riched in the title, description and tag with the correct keywords, as a result of which people are not reaching, so the views are not increasing. I can see your problems if you want
Here is part 2 of my Miami trip. Let me know if you have any questions. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-miXgh0Rc9Hs.htmlsi=ppN_tA1AdbRZgZRv
