Really enjoying your content so far. I am completely in agreement that if the $15 open is not getting it down to heads up or three ways. bump it up to 20 or 25. Other than that you ahve a solid game. Some of your preflop hands are a bit wide for my tastes, but they are in no way too wide. Keep it up.
Your play in the Bomb Pot at 7:21 - This is a perfect fold. As soon as you stated the action my instinct was the Opponenet hit the Nuts on the Top board. that would be Q9 I looked down to the second board and there it is.. two pair. Perfect fold!
He had A◇9◇ or something like it on hand 1. And limping A's should never happen. You can fold A's too. That was a clear flush at minimum. Ya, you coulda boated up. But..... you know.
Thanks, I’m going to disagree. I don’t think there is “never” in poker. Especially if you play at a regular club. I think there is value in changing things up. Thanks!
It’s always good to study your hands played. That’s how we all get better. While not being results oriented the 52s hand should have been folded pre flop. It will Get you into trouble as played but Congrats on winning the hand. 😊
For the record never limp Aces unless your sure someone will raise, you also lose out on the opportunity of someone 3 betting you. As for you thinking they have an Ace with 3 of them being out there, very hard for them to have that in fact because your blocking all the value it is most likely some sort of draw, not always a flush draw but yea. It's been theoretically proven you will make more money raising Aces then limping. Good fold for the Q8, I will say I disagree with the raise, but think it's pretty typical, when your going to raise the flop, first think who's range does this favor, in most cases, especially from EP Axx boards are going to heavily favor the pre flop raiser. I know your just starting keep up the good work.
Really enjoying your content so far. Came over from Valdez to check you out. going to be watching you everytime you put out a video. Keep up the good work.
WOW 17:30 ..the dude across before calling the all-in took 10$ out of his stack to give to the waiter and nobody caught that he took money out of the table?
I agree. On the reverse side at the club, I play at if you raise to 15 or 20 and early position, you will regularly get 3 to 6 colors. So to some degree there is a bit of “pick your poison“. Thank you for the view and the commentary
I like sizing up w 22 on the turn but I think you can go even bigger. On the double flush draw turn there are a ton of hands that could call any size even an over bet. All the KdXd, all the gutters with D's like JdTd and even the lower ones come in like 5d7d. Then you have the same thing with clubs. 9cTc, QcTc, 4c5c(probably folds flop) and so on. Pretty much every suited hand in clubs and diamonds is a combo draw here.
No, I show the hands that are the most interesting/entertaining. It’s just not feasible to show all the hands that I play. Thank you for watching. And thanks for reaching out.
On the PLO hand top two on that texture is very strong, bet flop. The turn doesn’t complete any draws so bet it again and charge clubs, pot the river. On the KQ hand in looking for max value you effectively priced him in so not sure about that one
DBBP IMO on the turn you should've went for the small raise to guarantee both call, pot size raise or jam the K high flush likely folds if he doesn't have someone that could win on the other board which is likely since you have all the T's. He bet $100 I would've went like $250. On the river I disagree with the small bet, I think you know you are likely up against one or two flushes, think you want to get them to fold now that the board paired. I would pot river. If I were in this hand with the nut flush I would def fold if you were playing passively the whole hand then come out swinging when the nuts changed on the board I had the nuts on. Makes perfect sense too since a J came on the other board as well. Only way I might bluff catch is with the nut flush + J blocking the top set.
Your bomb pot analysis is wrong because you only can win your quad hand and need to keep both in so you can chop the worst other hand money. If one of them fold you just chop even money with the guy that stays in and has the other board
Hey bud I watch a lot of poker vlogs. First time finding yours. I would recommend going through the hands a little quicker or adding pizzazz somehow. We don’t have attention span for shit lol
Lol, thanks for the feedback. It looks like I am going to have to shorten things a bit. I’ve had a couple of comments like this as well. There’s a balance there as you know between letting you know what’s going through my head and not getting boring. At any rate, I do appreciate the feedback. Take care.
Yes, I’m still considering that. Right now I feel like it’s a bit more realistic if we do it the traditional way. But again thank you for the view and the feedback. It means a lot.
I really appreciate the feedback. On this one, though I don’t think I can do it differently. This is just how I talk. And I think authenticity is really important when you’re taking people along on these little mini journeys. Anyway, I appreciate the view and the feedback.
Thank you I am working on that. I had an incident recently where a player next to me, moved his chair back and lean back so he could see my cards. I didn’t realize he was doing it for about five hands or so. I had to become more careful. When I’m not sure, I try to deduce what the card must’ve been based on the board. But again thank you. I’m working on it.
Thanks for the feedback. It always sounds fine and Final Cut Pro and then RU-vid gets a hold of it and I’m not real sure what’s happening. This may have to stay like it is for now. But thanks.
