That's just not even true man. The honda s2000, rsx type s, civic SI with the k20... They were all decently quick cars. Even the del sol would be quick with a b18c5. It's all power to weight ratio

Sounds familiar My dad has a 2000 Si Honda Civic he bought brand new on New Year's Eve 1999 I heard The sound of this engine growing up and it made me fall in love with Hondas it's an amazing engine he still owns that car to this day everything is bone stock completely original except for the muffler and the exhaust tip a bulletproof car Can't drive it very much though since it's asking to be stolen
Why didn't the guy at the beginning who kept saying "VTEC" just have the car in a lower gear??? Does he not have a type R? You can keep the motor in vtec 90% of the time
