Brands/PR companies: Send me an email and ask for my 2024 video and voice over rates :) I am always up to create some cool content with beautiful brands!
My own "got it everywhere!" isn't about plain old glitter, but the mylar "confetti." I've decided that I definitely prefer the mylar flakes in threaded-cap pots, rather than in those sectioned plastic bins with the built-in flip-up lid. When you flip up those lids, that mylar gets EVERYWHERE. It was last week that I was messing with that stuff, and I'm STILL trying to rub those sparkly bits off my desktop! They're also hard as hell to work with; I use a soft eyeshadow brush, but I make sure to do it over a paper plate, because it's just gonna fly everywhere. Then you have to use your efile to get rid of the bulges they make!
I got my favourite 2 deeply superficial and guilty pleasures I am in Australia so it would cost me like $150 also but no taxes only like $4 something so I only got the 2 I would wear the most. Such a cute moment with your little one ❤
Cooool! Watching them changing the colour in front of your eyes is so fun! May I ask you a question? Do you have a video with base coats? Because my nails are always broken on the tips (because of my job) and once you told that using a strenghtening base for too long makes things worse, so I'm looking for a very good base but not a hardener, thank you!
When you say broken on the tips, do you mean like peeling and flaking off at the tips? If so, I have this same problem, and I learned within the last few months that it is likely caused by base coat itself! Some of us have drier nailbeds (oily nailbed people don't need to worry about it so much), so we have to be careful. I spent days doing research online, and eventually found info about it on Reddit. Apparently the adhesive ingredient polyvinyl butyral is such an impressively strong binder, it will actually lift up cells of the nail with it, as you go to remove your polish. Not good. So, it's wise to look for a base coat without polyvinyl butyral. Many mainstream and indie base coats contain it, but some don't. I found a spreadsheet on a Reddit Lacquerista thread that lists lots of base coats, and whether they have PB or not. I picked up one that's pretty mainstream and easy to find (essie smooth-e), and have been using it for about two months now. Things are improving! Nail damage is growing out, and new lifting isn't happening. But we still have to be super careful about contact with water, wearing gloves when washing up, because water will definitely seep into peeled nails and make them worse. Hope this helps you! 💅
My nails split all the time, those 2 things help - essence grow and glow base coat or opi repair mode, the 6 days course on bare nails. I have thin and soft nails and try to not overdo strengthening bases
They're beautiful but sadly already sold out. To anyone who watches this and loves Simply Chaotic, KBShimmer has a thermal that looks almost identical, and for less money 🙂. It's called Branching Out. When I saw the promo pics for this collection, the KBShimmer polish was the first thing that came to my mind as a potential dupe.
Greetings and Happy Sunday to you and your family. I was excited about these as I've never owned a thermal polish before, no special reason and I've been a nailholic and collector for years. These are beautiful, thick and pigmented. I think these are my favourite HT polishes but I didn't get any back ups. The costs of taxes and shipping is the same 😨😭so I've cut down on international purchases. I don't get any PR. I wish I did🤗😂but I'll just continue to enjoy polishes and the community. Thank you for sharing.💜💛💚💙
Personally, I keep my nails pretty short. They always snag or break when i grow them out. Short works well for me, plus it uses up less polish per manicure. 😂😅 💅
I like the glitter and first shimmer one.🎉❤ 💅 I was never into textures so the sugar touch didn't appeal to me. The chrome one looks like a frost effect to me. 🤢 💅
These look nicer than I thought! The Sugar Touch seems to actually have holo pigment in it, which is awesome! Also, I wanted to ask (and couldn't find this elsewhere); what camera do you use for your setup? You previously said it was a really good one but not the specific brand I think. I'm looking to upgrade my setup so I'm curious!
I used to have long nails but they always broke in the middle of the nail bed. It would then tear and just got to be too much so I've had to cut them shorter. I used silk wraps now but they are a pain to do sometimes. I've about given up on natural long nails but think yours are so beautiful.
I prefer the Catrice Dream in 2024 collection. The Essence ones can’t grab my attention if I compare them. The “glazed donut” effect looks like a granny polish topper. Your most favourite is my most favourite from those 4. But really … they are a little too late. I already bought Catrice which are similar (but better in my opinion).
Hello Femketje, I hope you got the two essence Harley Quinn Holo Bomb nail polishes, I think the light blue one has the strongest linear holo effect of all the essence holo bomb polishes :)
Thank you so much for this swatch video ❤. I like this style of swatching on all your nails side by side. I saw these polishes but wasn't sure what they would look like, would they be too sheer and not effective, but your video helped a lot. 😊
Not that I know of! I think they're in the regular collection at the moment 😊 But it does get switched out twice a year so I'm not sure how long they'll be here.
I have Meta glow and I don't like it very much, it is too silver for my taste, I don't see much of colors, I tried this over so many colors and I'm not very happy! I think that black color eats all colors inside, I tried! Maybe I will buy this one with sand effect 😊
