My name is Jesse Mullen. I am relatively new to woodworking but it has quickly become a passion. I have a small shop in my garage. I mainly focus on furniture making but also do house updates. Subscribe to my channel for all my latest videos!
I can tell you that I saw the waves on the front of your newer trailer. Take it from one who bought the same kind of trailer = FIX the front and back of your newer trailer if the outside has waves before it becomes a big problem. The glue is coming undone, and it can cause big problems if left unfixed. GOOD luck on the camping. WE LOVE CAMPING.
Two suggestions When drilling holes thru steel. Put a small amount of oil into a cap or other container , then just dip the drill bit into it before drilling each hole. . Much easier , cleaner , faster. Angle iron is NOT 90* at inside corners so round over or bevel cut the spacer wood that butts into corner. If you look close you will see that’s why your wood is not sitting tight to sides.
Awesome shop, I'm planning on doing something very similar. I'm still in the process of planning the concrete phase. It seems like you used the versatube suggested footer of 12" wide down to frost depth required by local code. In regards to the footer, did they hold the horizontal rebar in place by driving rebar vertically into the bottom of the footer (i.e into the dirt) then wire tying the horizonal footer rebar onto the vertical rebar?
What do you use to stop things sliding about? I made something similar with a wood sled rather than angle stock. But my slab under moves. I've tried two different types of clamp but I have to remove them to do the ends which causes everything to move, so I get an uneven surface.
Just searched “restoring campers” to get some guidance and. Your video popped up first, I love seeing people move onto bigger better things so I loved seeing you guys move onto a bigger camper congratulations!!
Questions: What formulation of Baer primer and finish coat paint did you use; oil, acrylic enamel, acrylic latex? What type of paint roller did you use? Ed
You have chosen to adopt an affectation that is ridiculous. You have decided to not pronounce the letter t. It doesnt make you sound intelligent. It tells me that you are weak and that you are easily malleable. You must be seeking some kind of credability among your generation when you speak this way. Please pronounce the letter t.
Project came out great, nice job. Although, I'm not a fan of the way the ceiling came out, just me, too many seems and screws. Nice job, just not my cup of tea.
I used tile and stick on back of kitchen area worked great been up for two years now you need to remove whatever was on your walls for it to adhere to them. Also sprayed gorilla spray glue on top of the sticky glue the peel and stick has worked fine has not come off and I live in NV where temperatures are like Utah Also my floor did have that issue, but you should take off the Formica flooring you have then you just get down to wood. I put my flooring the wrong way that is why it is lifting in areas. but overall, it's fine. I will change this eventually.
I was gift this assembly mostly put together and missing a few pieces. I need the nut and washer, anti-kickback, knife , plastic cover and fence. I want to replace them but I don’t want to order the wrong stuff. Not very experienced in this area. Apparently Kobalt replacement parts are hard to find.
In the middle of removing our decals now! I also used the scraper but the decals were cracked from being in the sun and that made it so much harder to get them to just peel off. So time consuming! Did you consider using acetone to remove the sticky stuff from decals?
Hi Jesse, if you see this me and my friends were thinking about renovating a trailer for a fun summer project before our last year of college. What would you say we should avoid the most in renovation
