Tony, did you ever figure out how to get out turn signal lights to stop hyper flashing? Mine only do it when i push the brake. Other than that they work.
Thank you for this video, I didn't know the new superatv arms needed the brass bushings, but I just got off the phone with Laura at R.N.G Performance and she advised me that I should have my new bushings by the end of this week.
sc-1 is total crap. I used a can on my bike and it did NOTHING. I have a 2023 GSX-S1000 GT and it is in mint condition. I keep it washed and waxed with Ceramic wax. a friend told me about SC-1. so I tried it.. $20 for a 17 oz. can on Amazon. waste of $20.
Great video. Even though I think you were safe at the wash out crossing I think it was very thoughtful that you tided your puppy on the other side and didn't make her take the risky section. I live in NC. And I have been coming to WV. For over 24 years riding and I know how sketchy some of those trails can get. Stay safe. Maybe we will cross paths some time.✌️
Factory Arms are weaker by design. Its easier and cheaper to replace an A arm than the differentials (which would be the next weakest link). It keeps you from shoving the axel into the diff. Aftermarket beefier A arms can cause several more-expensive repairs and parts when they become the next weakest link
Have the same flip up windshield on a 23 1000 xl and mine does the same thing. Thought about just bungee cording the handles down. If you figure out a fix do share.
Resale is terrible in MN too. I have a ‘22 Overland that dropped an exhaust valve with only 675 miles. Now sits in pieces at the dealer because they can’t get parts. Never again.
Yes. I did 1 inch in the front, (or 1 1/2 inch, can't remember) and 2 inch in the rear. Made it feel a lot less top heavy and stable after the 2 inch lift was installed.
My Amazon whips cost as much as the shipping for your warranty process and they have zero rust and the quick release works great... Oh and you can keave them outside 😅 Im thinking 5150 is overhyped and overpriced judging from your experience..
Agreed! I mentioned to my wife, that I could have got me a cheap pair and replaced them when they broke, and still come out spending less money. I can't believe they didn't fix/replace the quick release mounts, I guess they are not covered under the warranty.
Great video..I have same windsheild on our uforce 800 2021 model..has just.one open close handle..and that thing holds so tight you almost need 2 hands to operate it..but a great windsheild
You need to carry extea straps so you can at least move logs or trees out of your way!! Always keep your cell phone with you just in case of emergencies!!! Youll figure it out, i hope i gave you some tips that you can use!!
The slower you go over that washout is very dangerous! Go across it with a little speed and youll be fine! Ive been thru worse and going over it slow is very dangerous!!
Must be adjustment, my super atv windshield has never popped open. And I’ve put it through the ringer What I don’t like is having to clean it instead of just hitting the wiper..
The windshield sounds like it needs to be adjusted.. mine sure stays closed. But i still hate mine 😂 they just dont seal nice, i hate hitting water and just getting soaked. I want flip up glass so bad.. Also i laughed out loud... does 5150 seriously expect someone to take the whips off afer a ride 😂
Hey Tony have you had any problems with the lower heim joints on the SuperATV a-arms creaking and squeaking? I’m on my second set within 300 miles and this second set are starting to get squeaky too. I’m starting to have second thoughts about going with this a-arm choice.
Yes. Since I had my dealer install my A Arms, I took it in to another shop to get a second opinion on the install because of the squeak. He sprayed some silicone lubricant on the joints which quieted the squeak. So you have to periodically spray it to keep them quiet. I haven’t experienced any other issues with them.
It is not the arm as much as it is heim joints, pretty typical but try some chainsaw bar oil applied with a qtip as it has a tacking agent in it and will last longer than any other oil or lube
@@Hunterworks Great suggestion... I will give that a try. Honestly, since I have been using SC1 after cleaning my machine they've been really quiet. I haven't had to lubricate them at all this year.
