Don’t open yourself up to a super varied range of materials here. Your indigos will outpace these machines in a heartbeat if you lose setup efficiency.
This was a dope video. I think there’s a few techniques you need to learn and maybe some printing knowledge, but you really made a cool design and did everything right.
Thank you for explaning! I have a follow up question. Does the paper itself interfere with the coating, like, if I apply matte lamination to a glossy paper or the other way round, how will the end results be different?
I’m struggling with bopp. I laminate my stickers with it but when I cut them with my cricut, it rips off the whole bopp, it’s giving me headaches. Any tips?
it is not a toner, it is a liquid colour. the main ingredient is a paraffin oil, the pigments are a type of plastic particle, the colour is applied at 90-110 degrees celsius. The paraffin oil evaporates and the plastic particles fuse together on the blanket to form an image, which is then transferred to the material.
Our building arrangements are still being worked on currently but we'll be very close to our current location. Our will call will still be available at the new building!
Totally depends on the uses for them. There are small, at-home personal Spot UV printers but they are still relatively pricey. The best advice I can give is if you're producing and shipping a lot of products daily, then you would benefit from utilizing an expensive machine. If you're just looking for a small batch of products to sell less frequently, I would check out companies that work with Spot UV on a large scale and purchase from them. There are a lot of companies that do these, including ourselves. You can reach out to our team by phone or through our live chat on our website (www.stickermountain.com) if you have any additional questions. Good luck in your search!
Using WD40 on a window tint can potentially damage the tint, as some tint films are sensitive to certain chemicals and solvents. Some safer approaches to use would be peeling off as much of the sticker as possible, using a mild soap solution and applying it to the adhesive residue, and let that sit for a few minutes to help loosen the adhesive. Then just gently rub or scrape with a soft cloth or plastic scraper. Any abrasive materials used to wipe away the adhesive residue could scatch the tint. Definitely test your soap solution on a smaller, inconspicuous area of the tint first to ensure there won't be any damage. If you're still concerned, reach out to the tint manufacturer or professional who installed your tint. Good luck!

Thank you so much. I started working on digital vector stickers on Illustrator and I wanted to make sure if I am going to make it all right from document to the stickers size to the stickers outline.
I work on these ; Like everything it depends on how well they are taken care of, I’ve seen some crumble after 5 years and I’ve seen some that are 18 years old going strong
I believe it can convert RGB to CMYK automatically, however, we do have an art team that does so before it is sent there. We mostly do that to ensure the customer knows that the colors could change when switching between color gamuts. We do explain the color spaces we use in the video here: ru-vid.com/group/PLFr2WUDbV_01slNcq-tUW0jci1fjIwera If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to our email info@stickermountain.com and we have a team of experts eager to help you!
The machine first convert files on its own, the pre press system provided with it gives you plenty of tools to get the best color results, including G7 certified when needed, keeps track of Lab colors, and if you need it it’ll do RGB to YMCK
Good tips. Have this same machine at the plant. When it works proper it's Awesome! Our biggest issue is wrinkles, I make delay, and tail adjustments to solve.
