@GillGDundee I'd love to know how you've established that claim. For decades I've heard nothing but negativity about it, both anecdotally and in the media. I'm sure some do love it, and I'm sure some just accept it because it's been established as the national anthem, but we should be able to do better.

I'm sure there are other good matching tunes also. More inspiring! And I wonder if it's possible to take pipes into a stadium? That would be worth a goal!
@@GillGDundee *Unofficial national anthem. I know people have suggested Scotland the Brave, but it's a no from me. Great on the pipes, but not an anthem. Dougie MacLean's Caledonia is a great song, but I'm not sure if it'd work as an anthem. I'm still sure we can do better than Flower of Scotland.
