Get close to a chest that has already been searched(or search it yourself), drop your item(if you have one equipped) and then get close to that chest and the option to rummage should appear if you have a perk that allows you to rummage(like the perk "Appraisal") Note: If the chest is open and HAS an item inside you need to pick it up and drop it on the ground or it will not work*
@@SinOfJudgement Yes, you can use "Residual manifest" that lets you rummage once for a basic flashlight or "Scavenger" to use one rummage for a basic toolbox. So short answer Appraisal(3 rummage tokens),Residual manifest(1 rummage token), Scavenger(1 rummage token)
i agree. They might be the least used ones so yeah really weird. Also i think they might i've indirectly buffed calm with the cd reduction since you get more benefits while having the static blast available.
i mean i do think the weave/franklins combo is not that "fun" to go against but it's not like it uncounterable! Anyways i'm still expecting a nerf in the future so hopefully it comes soon enough for you :]
@@KorghalDBD-iv6ih My problem is the white ward interaction even before weave. Black ward always works for killers. It is a purple offering, of course it should work. White Ward is countered if you die having "put your item down" so Franklin's counters not just your items, add ons, and possibly perks, but destroys your offering too. I started in 2022 so I had only 2 of those CLEAN anniversary items. 2 flashlights I had managed to get from dead teammates and escape with. I ONLY used them with white wards because they look really good. I have 1 and if I use it and the killer has Franklin's, I have to afk in a locker to actually secure my item and addons being safe. TERRIBLE oversight that has been made even more prominent from weave making Franklin's so popular. Edit: I'm talking about the old black and gold anniversary items. I'm not sure how long ago those were a thing, but I've only been here for the masquerade items.
@@Hyde472 OHHHHH i see my bad. Yeah i can see your point, i agree kinda weird that i never thought of that as a problem until now ngl but hopefully they fix it. I can see the being frustating to lose limited items like that.
yeah there is percentage of people in this game in which the hypocrisy is insane! I dont't actually think there are a lot of people that use real hacks but they def exist!. Distortion is such a good an underused perk and object of obession wouldn't be too bad as well!. ALSO it kinda blows my mind that people just don't put their items on a corner of the map to counter it but oh well... Hopefully it doesn't get too nerfed because i'm 100% expecting a nerf to weave in the future! Thank you for the comment <3
@@KorghalDBD-iv6ih No probs. Yes cornering your items is a great counter. It’s quite easy to do and not as time consuming. OoO is the second best counter, only because there’s no time limit to weaves effect. Therefore OoO is the same. It’s a very strong perk combo and very easily executable. It’s basically the training wheels of aura perks. Aside from LP ofc. Whatever makes the killer execute their role I’m fine with, but also same ideology applies to survivors. So if one survivor wants to bring ftp and bu and you decide to slug that’s there choice of bringing said perk and executing it. I hate this back and forth. We both have perks to try and get value from. Killers mad at these survivors for bringing x and survivors mad for killers bringing y. As a killer 50% main I don’t give two flying f bombs what survivors bring. Ahaha. Although I can safely assume that majority of killers truly care what survs bring.
@@Shinobu514 yes object does sound really appealing ngl. Personally i don't care per say about what survivors bring i just get bored of seeing the same builds over and over again. (i did care about flashlights when they were insta blinds and super easy to get flashlight saves or the old ftp-buckle up combo, which atleast the first one i would just use lightborn but the other one was really frustating to go against when the survivors were really coordinated)
These perks are very objective base and to the point. Some dvd players think the only non toxic way to play is to run the killers. Gen rushing is not toxic, it’s objective based gameplay. It’s a great counter play to the multiple regression perks that are in the game.
indeed there is always a place for objective focused perks!. I enjoyed WAY MORE the early stages of the game in which you were sneaking around "scared" of the killer that's why prefer doing non-chase builds!. Personally i've never considered gen rushing toxic, i just consider the ability of finishing 5 gens in 5 mins or less unhealthy/boring for the game. (I've always had the idea of dbd introducing certain "roles" for the survivors to help with this problem so you have strengths in certain areas and weakness in others instead of being an expert at repairing gens, healing, getting chased, etc. That idea will be implemented to a certain degree in the 2 v 8 mode but i did not see any "negatives" to the classes/roles so that is my biggest issue with it). Finally i think there is an argument to be made about survivors lasting longer in chase being a bit more meaningful that objective focused perks, the more time you make for your team the more difficult is to the killer to keep people of the gens.(OF COUSE this doesn't matter if your teammates are hiding while they hear the terror radius or running around doing totems while you do that lol). Thank you for the comment <3
it's nothing new tbh!. It's very rare when you see meaningful buffs for killers/killer perks, i personally learned to just not expect anything and be grateful with what is given!(best way to not stress to much over it). Hook respawn is nice at least... right? :]
Increasing the cooldown by 300% is absolute insanity. There's a reason they didn't put it in the patch notes, because only an idiot would think the knight of all killers needed such a massive nerf
For sure feels "weird" that they changed it the way they did. I personally did not think it was too strong at the ptb but i could see people feeling that it was so idk weird situation at the very least.
Cooldown kills him. In the ptb, while one guard was on cool down you were able to use the other two which was a whole lot better. But bhvr is stupid and decided to remove it 🤦♂️.
Honestly I wouldn't be opposed to the Shared cooldown as long as it only triggers when someone gets hit by a gaurds. That and I just want to straight up be able to recall my gaurds by holding the switch button, right now it feels like experience survivors who can manipulate the guard AI to never get hit and will basically Victor your guards if you do a really long path which actively hurts you for doing what you're supposed to do! Yet another example of survivors being able to hold your power hostage. The guard AI is not good enough right now to be a threat to experienced anti knight survivors, but he's really good against average and low mmr player.
@@Free_Hugz tbh some of the real big issues that I’ve seen is survivors going back for the banner and getting it to easily and yes ik that they added something to where if the path is maxed out then the banner spawn time doubles but I just don’t think it’ll help as much as they think it would, but they definitely need to bring back the old guard cool down from the ptb, cause that was a lot more useful
@@Free_Hugz yeah i feel if you go against survivors that just run the guard for a long time you dont have a chance to use your power much, that's one of the issues i got :[
yeah maybe they felt it was too strong but i think they needed to make it so the assassin and jailer cd was the same, and make the carnifex cd separate with maybe higher cd? STILL EARLY TO SAY but i will keep trying him out to see if i change my opinion!
@@KorghalDBD-iv6ih is it true that his pathing ability is reduced? I play on Xbox One now. Xbox feels outdated versus PlayStation 🤣 I noticed you used Call To Arms 😈 imo one of his best add-ons 🙏
@@Brucee_97 it's the same on length but now the longer the path is the higher value you can get out of the hunt time, guard speed and banner spawn time! OH also you cannot make a path lower than 10 meters(that's pretty much to disable the ability of instantly spawning guards on loops to get a free guard hunt or zone the survivor from the loop)
i used to play knight a lot and struggle to see the buff. the ability to chose the guards is nice but literally everything else is a straight up nerf. knight is so ass rn
@@infinitelyrics6208 eh tbf that’s hardly noticeable, what pisses me off though is that they removed the guards reworked cool down timer from the ptb, like why tf would they even consider doing that for, it was perfectly fine and healthy for the knight
i'm still feeling it out but i for sure miss the change on the cooldown! one of the changes i do not agree is that the guards chase time gets reduced when you are nearby since survivors will waste alot of time running the guard if left alone and might not even get hit! AND in all that time that the guard was chasing someone you can't use your power!
Theres a bug with machine learning that makes you loose your 10% haste when you get haste from batteries included im pretty sure it happens with stuff like devour hope and furtive chase just wanted to point this out so it can get fixed
that seems like a pretty big bug, hopefully it gets fixed before release :]. I really don't have any way of communication with the devs to relay your message but i appreciate the comment <3
People who mained Hux were afraid that the auto lock would screw up their aiming. I'm Glad Bhvr aim the auto aim happen as soon as you enter the camera. Very good change, Helps at loops and indoor maps.
i usually either show the build at the beginning or do a review at the end of the match, on this one i did a quick review at the end BUT here you go i made this if thats more convenient for you :]. www.dbd-info.com/builds/eab764a9-dc8c-409d-9d1d-c51fa484d0f5
they are one of the killers i always go back to play because of their playstyle of setting up certain areas to catch survivors easier!. Can be a bit frustating if you have someone following you around disarming your traps though lol.
there are matches i have to read the perks mid games before i start chasing people. LOL still fun tho, get to try out some licensed perks that i don't have :)
they didn't add any crazy details on the livestream about the nerfs/buffs BUT no gen perks(kinda) only one around skillchecks from the new survivor! but indeed lower regression does directly affects the length of the games for sure!
Yeah really unexpected for sure. I don't use meta perks much(besides specific rough days/specific builds) but i feel like the best case scenario is buffing underused perks AND nerfing overused ones not just the same cycle of nerfing the "op". Thank you for the comment <3
@@KorghalDBD-iv6ih I've seen some comments elsewhere saying "MAYBE" the new killer would have some new gen perks that's why they tried to push the new gen perk and nerf the most used ones. we'll see what's coming! :D
@@wytheli i really don't watch or look for leaks so i was unware of those rumors. I am expecting another invocation perk at the very least but anyways we will see what happens hehe :]
Hi ! I just want to suggest you run Play With Your Food instead of maybe Sloppy Butcher. This way you could benefit more from Sade The Best For Last by leaving the chase, and push the mene of the speed even further! Nice video !
i really like it with this build specially and you can keep making hex totems as long as there are dull totems available(doesn't matter if they cleanse it). Thanks for the comment :] <3
@@TheFellahMachine indeed i think maybe an UI VFX should be good quality of life change for sure 🙏 BUT until then just assume its activating when you get stunned and blinded i guess hehe
Thx for the video, man! I'm really looking forward to getting him, even tho he looks really hard to play with... I really appreciate the attention, I'm going to get all friends of mine to subscribe to your channel XD
no worries! always happy to do requests :]. Sure he is hard to play so if that might get in the way of your fun maybe give it another thought before getting him for sure. have a nice day <3
Just watched the Piggy video and came to watch this one, had lots of fun, you gained a new subscriber today! Keep up the good work man, loved the vid and the gameplay, really enjoyed. I have faith that you are going to get the recognition u deserve in a near future, and I wanna be here to watch this! As a Legion enjoyer I am definitely trying this build! And plus, do you have pinhead? I’m thinking abt buying him and I would love to see you play with him! Lots of love from Brazil 🇧🇷❤️
Just your average post-buff Billy, honestly... gone are the days of wholesome and based Billy players/mains, most of them are as sweaty and tryhard as the average wannabe comp tunneling Blight now
Yeah.... my heart shrinks a little bit everytime i get people like that but oh well, better to just move onto the next game!. Just thought i would share the experience since i felt i did not deserve that level of toxicity. Thank you for the comment <3
@@KorghalDBD-iv6ih You definitely didn't deserve it, no, but a lot of Killer players will, unfortunately, interpret having only 1-2 gens left with only 2-3 hooks on the scoreboard as "okay time to hard tunnel someone out" - rather than a more productive "I should look at what I did wrong, and understand what I can do better next time". I try to do that myself when I'm playing Killer - yeah, it certainly feels bad to feel that far behind, but I've had so, SO many 1-2 hook games turn into 6+ hook games by just choosing to chase someone else & going for trades in the endgame, that I can say for sure that tunneling like this is just crappy and unnecessary. Hope you get better killers from here!
