Understandably omitted due to its length, but I can really recommend the full version of 'dip 1.1' from the "The Disintegration Loops" release (2002). It's a full hour long, and literally slowly disintegrates into almost nothing. Masterpiece. Thanks for a great mix!
People say Grouper sounds sad. This can definitely he the case. But I find it detached, and empty. Not in a bad, nihilistic way, but there's so much potential here. It feels like Liz really tapped into the foundations of what it means to he creative. Listening to these foundations, these uncovered remnants of human thought and emotion, it inspires me to tap into similar depths.
