I blue tape my lid down... Im using the hose ... And its outside the tent... The negative pressure of the tent .. Is enough to tug the hose and pull the entire lid off my humidifier... Sometimes when i add water.. cause my humidifier is deep between two tents... I would reach in to pop the lid open and would knock the whole entire top off so I started using blue tape to secure it down .. I leave my humidifier in a square tuber ware bowl/pan I never had and flood issues... Just the lid flying off easily... I like that i can put the lid on any way i want .. i think next gen only goes one way... I noticed you have to keep the water clean....like if you finish your grow .. you turn everything off .. And leave wait in it... The bubbler part has to be cleaned good .. or it barley puts moisture out... Its running but not doing allot .. I started adding a splash of hydrogen peroxide to my water every time i add it now .. helps keep everything from getting gooey really fast . . Im not a fan of using bleach on plastic or rubber items ...
It may sound silly, but I've found the best way to keep my VPD spot on is just keeping an eye on the watering of the plants. Moist soil: evaporation, plus transpiration from plants and I'm stable at 0.8k-0.9Pa with around 25-26C in the grow tent. Just my experience
Hey guys. Just a heads up. Spider farmer have done a silent upgrade of their clip on fans. Didn't know as they havent announced in literally any way .. lol. But they fixed all the issues with wire placement and the bracket. Full redesign with a diff 10 speed motor too. Worth checking out as i think it now gives the AC infinity a good run for its money at 30% cheaper than the AC.
I was about to buy a new ac infinity humidifier, and I some how stumbled upon this video. I tried this fix and it works perfectly now. Thank you so much for sharing this!!!
I always take the tank off and flush and wipe each fill. I fill it off the machine, always have after I had 2 float valve issues and flood my lung room I stopped filling on unit. the filter looks great! a better fix would be a stiff toothbrush and some electrical contract cleaner, less risk of bending or scraping the contact to hell
Vivosun makes trash tier products. Most of their products are packaged like crap. Literally the product thrown in a flimsy cardboard box half smooshed in shipping. I’d steer clear of most of their stuff too. I don’t believe most of their stuff is even csa or etl approved which is a freaky notion considering how much in the past Vivosun stuff likes to catch fire.
5:47, so basically, it's a skill issue. Dont let your fan hit the side of the tent. Dont bump the fan. Thats like saying the falw of this grow tent is you can knock your plants over lol.
Oscillating chinese fans just aren't a thing. I run sevel fans non Oscillating and make them work in harmony to produce a consistent circular breeze in my 4 x 4. Currently in my 6th year of the hobby and have not ever had a fan fail.
i have the spider farmer and can only advise everyone not to buy it. the fan runs nice and quiet, oscillation is a pain in the ass. oscillation lasted 4 days, then it started making noise, i opened the fan and greased some spots, quiet again for a few days and then the same thing all over again. i now have the fan running without oscillation.
I love my Cloudforge. Keeps VPD in check all day long Although to be honest, it's really the Controller 69 that's so amazing. You could hook a normal humidifier to one of the UIS plugs and hook that up to the 69 and it would be 90% as good as the Cloudforge. It's the 69 and it's ability to use VPD as a trigger that's so cool...😊
I have 3 Medic grow lights. They're amazing. Haven't found anything close to the quality for the price. You'd think they were of poor quality or build. Absolutely not, these lights crush it.
I got a Cloudforge a couple weeks ago. It was the missing ingredient in my tent. It gets triggered by high VPD and brings it down quick. Lets the fan chill out a bit. So glad I got it 🙂
Man, I just got that fan last week and it's a little embarrassing to get so jacked over a fan. I freaking LOVE it. Super quiet and when connected to the controller 69, having the ability to control it while I'm at work is freaking awesome. And the fan itself is serious quality. The best.
I ordered saucers and lifters from you guys a few years ago. I had no idea y'all were focused on "grow tent gardening". 😅 Pretty cool. You guys are great BTW. I've ordered more stuff since then and the prices are good, the delivery was quick and the customer service is spot on.
I JUST PICKED UP THE NEW MEDIC GROW FOLD 800 . IT HAS TO BE DIMMED W A CONTROLLER BUT THE LIGHTS ARE 279.99 AND AMAZON HAS CONTROLLERS FOR 79.99 , SO IM UNDER 400 FOR 800 WATTS AND 280 WHENEVER I WANT TO ADD 800 SINCE THE CONTROLLER WILL DO UP TO 50 LIGHTS . THIS SPECTRUM X LOOKS AWESOME . I THINK MEDIC GROW IS ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT , BEST VALUE / QUALITY ON THE MARKET . THX FOR THE VID .
Why do the old skool cheaps fans last forever you would have thought by now you would be able to buy a cheap fan with AC infinity quality it's only a fan
