I'm proud to have put so many friends onto this band over the last 20 years. Funny enough, my friends were always inebriated and apparently their music just hits different when you're not sober lollll.
Picked Planet of Ice up in a record store on a whim in 2008. Back then I was getting into After the Burial's Rareform and Veil of Maya's Common Man's Collapse. Definitely was more of a metal head but this album somehow fit right alongside the aforementioned albums. Such interesting riffs, great accompanying synths and each section never overstays it's welcome, making the whole thing a fun listen throughout. Think this may be one of a kind, but if anyone has any suggestions for experimental indie albums in a similar vein, let me know.
