God I love this scene. I still say this to people. I don’t know how you do things down in WAArez but here in Idaho we have a little something called pride. And then the zoomer usually calls me a racist. Love it!
Thankfully he wasn't disqualified from the school election but instead he had to take down all the flyers that were promoting his running for president
Although the scene is meant to be funny, it always annoyed me that they got after Pedro over a stupid piñata, but are never seen punishing the school bullies that pick on napoleon & other students.
@@matt2522 Unfortunately. They even allow Summer Wheatly to get way with her slimy comment towards Pedro when she gave her speech on stage. I’m happy Pedro won in the end.
@@MrSoccerball100 not to me specifically as I never had any classes directly taught by him, but he did talk about the movie with students of course at events. All of the film faculty adore the Hess’s since they are by far the most successful graduates from their program. They were even invited to a seminar to talk with our program with that professor and others in attendance.
@@JustinZarian I read the wiki for the movie. What a great story. And every scene in the movie is perfect. Hess's were afraid the audience wouldn't "get it." But everyone got it. Hess's hit an absolute bomb home run with everything from the script, to the actor/actress selections, to the direction. Masterpiece. Very cool he came from your program.
@@MrSoccerball100 mmhmm. And at least Jared made something else good with that Netflix documentary Murder Among the Mormons because I haven’t been crazy with most of his post-Napoleon Dynamite output
