I’m a 13-year-old who wants to pursue astrophysics at Yale as well so this video really stood out to me! I thought it was very ironic because my main focus is also black holes! I was thinking on settling in something simpler like being a business person, but this video has sparked me to continue my future with astrophysics!
Yo, did you go to Stratford High? Or maybe Bunnell? Ur videos are so informative. I’m the SHS Class of 2024 Valedictorian and I got waitlisted from Yale. Any tips on how to get off the waitlist or when the admissions officer will answer me back? Lmk 😭
Do they normally send a rejection letter after they are done picking who they want from the Waitlist. Also, what month is the latest to hear from colleges that waitlisted you
Hey Anna! I remember watching this video 3 years ago in 9th Grade, now I am in the final week of college apps deadline, your video has always been my go-to whenever I lose my creative juice. You have been very kind and replied to several doubts of mine on Instagram. Just wanna let you know that you are awesome! And Time flies!
Hi Anna!! Im a Erasmus student and ı will also be at FAMU on February 12th. But I'm having trouble finding a cheap place to stay. Do you have any advice?
I never had this direction as a highschool student. Those 4 years were a waste and went by so fast. I feel I am finally catching up to my maturity. I want to transfer to a Ivy college and make big strides in my education, but lack that highschool background. ADVICE??
“I’m just a regular person/you can do it too” videos from successful applicants to Yale (and like schools) give me a chuckle. Always a verbal torrent delivered at the pace of an auctioneer about AP exams, founding a string theory club, and adding a new chemical to the periodic table - all before lunch.
Anna, I have been following your videos since you first started uploading, I still remember you saying that you would want to pursue astrophysics, but you ended up doing filmmaking(i guess?)like a chad, I am a Yale Young Global Scholar Alumni, and you gave me a perspective on how to go about college essays through your other videos and that sort of helped me get into YYGS, I have a plethora of answers to provide for the "why yale" essay, but here I am looking again at this video 3 years later, Just in case I don't miss out mentioning the first things that made me fall in love with Yale. Cheers! Your videos are still making an impact.
Hi, quick question. I'm from nepal and literally only ONE SCHOOL in the WHole country offers AP classes and i don't live near that place so obv i don't have any AP classes but i get decent grades. So, you think I have a chance of getting in? I really LOVE YALE SO MUCH😭
I really relate to you on combining STEM and art in the way that I’m interested in the fine arts (graphite drawing specifically), and have been my entire life and would like to continue that professionally, but how would I combine that with my fascination for business and finance for a profitable career that could carry me through life? I wish you the best of luck in continuing and exploring all of your passions.
Oh my goodness. I'm so so happy to see you after a very very long time how are you? And please may I know why you're Instagram links are always broken? Please I want to Connect with you on Instagram. I hope you know that boy far from India. 😉
hiii, i know im a little late to watch your yale series but i would love to talk to you regarding all this!! im apply yale rea for fall 2023 and theres so much i would love to know from you!
Still so nervous 😭😭this is really good advice but I'm a junior and I wish I had awards and had pursued stuff I liked 😭 I've been feeling horrible a lot because of how competitive my school is (around 650 in my class), with my gpa being almost 3.0 weighted I don't know where to start on planning my summer either, help
Another thing is colleges want to see if you will give back to the college in the future, which is probably money/donations. Show that you’re capable of this and research about the college, their opportunities, alumni, classes, professors, and clubs.
