Thanks so much for recording this. I was trying to remember it for a 3 year old great niece, and everyone was singing the tiny Tim version. She would just say” no, no, no, not that turtle”. Now I remembered it with your help, it was the finger play that she enjoyed!

What an amazing video, very informative! My family (2 of them only, rest stayed behind) came from the village of brabander in russia to the city of Fresno in California, in 1910-1912. Sadly one of them died (which was my great great great grandfather) in 1912, and the other one out of the 2, which was his wife, she never spoke of him after he died, or of her life in russia...nothing. So we have zero information of who her or his family was and so when ive tried to do research, I find nothing everytime :( All I know is their last names were Graf and his was "Martell" but still can never find anything and it seems Martell isnt even a german last name because I never see it in any volga german records?? I'm not sure.

Martell ist vielleicht ein französischer Name. An der Wolga waren auch Kolonisten aus Frankreich.

Apple computers may be set to automatically unzip the DNA file which then makes it not loadable to Gedmatch. My cousin could not upload to Gedmatch because her Apple computer browser was unzipping the ZIP file to the root TXT file. I turned off the auto unzip in the browser settings and got her uploaded.

This is on my to-read list. I want to sink in the "H2O" world. The synopsis brings to mind "The Rain", the Danish tv show where one drop of rain will kill you. It however, is not acid rain.

Did you know that WWII Black veterans and descendants are STILL not allowed GI bill benefits? Can you imagine teaching WWII and GI Bill and not mentioning that 1 million Black veteran were excluded. There is a bill in the house and senate to change this. Authentic CRT seeks to uncover and remedy these inequities caused by systemic racism.

@@wademitchell3817 How many years of EO do we have to sit through to make up for that? 50 years? 100 years? Are you really telling me your great great great grandkids still need a leg up because of the GI Bill injustice 100 years ago. Let me know when you are ready to be a grown up and deal with the consequences to your decisions.

Yeah we’re gonna talk about that. We’re also gonna talk about Rosewood, and we want to discuss Tulsa Oklahoma and also we can talk about Greensboro and let’s talk about all the Black people that were lynched and men’s penises were cut off and saved souvenirs. What mostly we want to talk about What still happening today just a few months ago a black man was murdered in Mississippi, and they still haven’t found all his body parts, so yeah, we still talking about it you still a black man I can’t walk down the street in Mississippi. Without being in fear for his life Alabama is ridiculous and all white people have to say is well they’re criminals. That’s fucked up. The thing is a lot of the well that was lol and those read in old messages of Black people have never been recovered. Big black town were wealthy, Black people they didn’t need nobody they were trying to live their lives and because of some white chicks that come along and live on a black man he end up getting Lynch family his murder. The whole town is blown up with the OK of the government and you’re sitting here talking about. Are we still talking about this? Hell yeah we still talking about it

"More important, as critical race theorists we adopt a stance that PRESUMES that racism has contributed to ALL contemporary manifestations of group advantage and disadvantage along RACIAL lines, including differences in income, imprisonment, health, housing, education, political representation, and military service. Our history calls for this PRESUMPTION." "Words That Wound: Critical Race Theory, Assaultive Speech, and the First Amendment" by Matsuda, Lawrence III, Delgado, and KIMBERLE' WILLIAMS CRENSHAW Those are their words from their intellectual papers: It is the entire foundation of the premise. CRT promotes the notion that the fact that a group is measurably superior is proof that everybody in that group is guilty; and, that a group being inferior is proof that everybody in that group is a victim. Further: this principle projects through time; asserting that what happened to the long dead projects onto the guilt or victimhood of the living; even if the living never experienced it at all........... CRT uses history and statistics to justify using government force to implement racial discrimination.
