Intense and incredible battle yesterday! We both knew pole was decisive, pushed each other lap after lap and I got pretty lucky right at the end of quali 😅 Bring on the regionals at Nottingham 💪
How does the track feel nowadays, I used to be a regular and I even had the fastest time there it was know to be quite slippery but then they updated the track and felt too grippy😂there was basically no need to break and it took out the fun from the place, has it become any better? Also I see they have added the newer karts, never raced in them are they good
You are right, the first hare-pin is grippy and there are still some slippery parts on the track which are the double lefts. The karts are on and off some are faster than others. Hopefully you come back and take a look for yourself 😊
i go there a lot like every week in 12 and i went in an adult kart for the first time and i got 47.187 usually in the child karts i get 52 seconds and i have learnt a lot from your racing lines thanks bro
Hey good racing mate, word of advice if ur tryna overtake a back marker or anyone in this case, switchback is the best option, I call the track switchback central. What place are you for lap time on the all time leaderboard?
Trust me its hard not to make contact on this track especially when Driver drivers don’t follow blue flags 😣 In BIKC I deffo would have gotten penalties. 😣 But yeah it’s all part of the process improving my racing to be even cleaner and pass more effectively. Appreciate you watching the video and providing feedback. Thank you!!! 🙏🏿
Lol good race. They need to ban blue flags though. It will stop you getting upset at people who are racing their own race. Getting through traffic is fun. You all catch each other up by speeding on yellows anyway😊
Lmao sheffield is the worst offender for lights from what I've seen. People on average tend to travel almost 1-200m before coming to a stop on reds, and yellow is basically a "4/5ths of race speed" flag
Nice footage. Some interesting and quick driving. I was there today and it was sooooo slippery downstairs. Not sure about the blue flag system. It spoiled my racing a little. Id prefer a level playing field. After all, you dont complain when a backmarker holds up the guy in front of you allowing you to catch up do you? Ps i complied and gave way 6 times!!! to the lap leaders. A couple of times i had the guy behind me sail through along with the leading pack!! It wouldn’t be 6 times if the carts were limited on yellows, but they aren’t and most people i saw today don’t follow the ‘walking pace’ rule which ends up with them lapping you way more than they should! 😢
Hi David, thanks for watching my video. I understand your point about the "yellows - walking pace" and have experienced being overtaken under these conditions as well. We hope the Marshals will better enforce speed limits more strictly under 'yellows' to ensure fairness. Hope to see you on track..
It was ever so slightly surreal seeing the places I walk through so often (not so much now with corona times and bubbles lol but), but also the school then looked so different. Also they’ve removed the coloured boards from the hall now. It makes me sad really, they were so aesthetically pleasing. I guess they did it because of the revamped house system which is closer to the original style but I feel like they could’ve still kept them even if they didn’t represent the houses anymore, they were nice.
