Fr. Alex Colautti. Catholic seminarian. Companions of the Cross. Just trying to live-out the call God has put on my life. "The glory of God is man fully alive." - St Irenaeus
Thank you, Deacon Alex! Very nice! I am doing the Examen of Conscience also. I should do it every day though, not only sometimes. All the best. May the peace of the Lord be always with you.
To what religion? Novus (latin for new) Ordo (latin for sect, rule or order): There is the Carmelite order, Benedictine order, Franciscan order and many other orders in the Catholic Church. Now there is a new order Novus Ordo. Is this a new religion? Is the novus ordo mass valid? When the words of a sacrament are materially changed, the sacrament is no longer valid. In the novus (latin for new) mass the words of consecration were materially changed, making the real presence doubtful. The words of all 7 sacraments were change after Vatican II. Luther "Destroy the Mass, destroy the Catholic Church. Six protestants helped rewrite the new mass. The Missal of Trent, there was a document called Quo Primum which stated that the TLM was the Mass of the Church forever and could never be changed. In the book of Maccabees, there was a second altar in the temple. Is the second altar in Novus churches what Jesus warned us about in St. Matthew 24? Is the novus church part of the great deception Jesus speaks of in this same chapter. On Sept 19, 1846, Mary told us that Rome would lose the faith and become the seat of anti-Christ. She also told us that priests ministers of my Son have become cesspools of impurity. Has the clergy suppressed the messages of LaSalette, Fatima, and Akita? Look at the hair color in your novus church - gray. By their fruits you shall know them. Vatican II document Lumen Gentium 16 states there is one God the 3 monotheistic religions worship. Is this heresy? Is this false ecumenism where Catholic reach out to other religions only to lose their own? if you struggle with this, then read this document about the Latin Mass: catholictradition.org/why-latinmass.htm
+Jesse R. thanks so much for your encouragement and thanks for watching, I really appreciate it! Things are crazy right now but I hope to make more videos soon. It's really cool to hear that an atheist like yourself is enjoying them. You should onsider Catholicism sometime ;-). Blessings on you!
Dcn Alex Colautti I'm an atheist/agnostic with an open mind. I'm always here to listen, because your words can help everyone! Hugs from Brazil! And thanks for the blessings!
@@acolish I am very impressed with your love! I am becoming a Catholic! Never in a million years could any one have told me I would have been on this journey! I am loving it!!! Lol I was raised Baptist, worked in the Pentecostal church for ten years! 8 years in Nondenominational church! However I have learned much more from the Catholic church, and received amazing love, my oldest son is Muslim and every one shows him love, no condemnation!!! Loving it!!! Everyone is God's child!
I'm from Austria and i'm interested in religion.I think it's great that priests on RU-vid and give instructions or just tell something about religion.I like your videos and i also can understand you for the most parts.
+Anna Mayerhofer thanks so much for sharing. Sorry you couldn't understand everything, must be my weird Canadian accent! God put that interest for religion into your heart so keep searching and keep learning. He has so much he wants to share with you!
Our Blessed Mother at Fatima, Portugal in 1917 gave us God's final 2 remedies: "Pray the Holy Rosary daily and have devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (love Jesus as Mary does), meaning there will be no others." Lucia dos Santos, Fatima seer. Through Mary, God told us how to prepare for the return of His Son over 100 years ago.
I feel like I'm on track with the Holy Spirit. Before I listened to your video, I'd been reflecting on Advent and what God might be calling me to do this year to prepare my heart for Christmas. What I sensed was that I had to get up as soon as my alarm rang and not reset it, so as to have more prayer time available before the rest of my day gets started. I also thought that I wanted to add some evening prayer/reflection time to my daily schedule. Thanks for the confirmation of my "what will I do this Advent" reflections.
Thanks so much for sharing! It's really encouraging to hear you confirm what I shared in my video, and it's really humbling to be used by God. Awesome to see the Holy Spirit on the move! Have the best Advent ever! Peace.
This was an amazing way to think about advent. Currently I’m in decrement to become a priest but I honestly don’t know much about it. Would you be able give me any advice for my preparation on going into seminary?
+Phillip Dvorak hey Phillip, that's a great question, thanks for asking! In fact, it's such a great question that I'd like to make a video about it, so if you don't mind waiting for the answer. Thank you for your courage in choosing to consider a call to the priesthood, it's an amazing journey!
Dcn Alex Colautti thank you so much! I’m right now talking to our vocation office in my diocese. I love your videos that you’ve made and I can’t wait to see more!
+Maritza Perrault a married man can become a permanent deacon and remain married. Once ordained, a deacon can't marry (or remarry). I took a vow of celibacy because I am unmarried and I am on my way to the priesthood.
That is a wonderful video. Congratulations Deacon Alex on your vocation. You are a blessing and inspiration to all the young people you are searching. May you be happy, peaceful and fulfilled in this journey. Love your vlog!
Dcn Alex Colautti Thanks for asking. Likely the last week of October you'll see some activity. Heading out to NS for the week and I'm busy the following week turning 30. But you'll be the first to know!
