I'm lucky, I live near Joel Etchen, but his prices were way too expensive for me. I have my eye on these one day, but I'm disappointed to see you paying that much for a nice B gun and there's no case!
I just drove up to Joel Etchen Guns last Friday to pickup my Browning 725 Trap Pro Golden Clays and they are wonderful there. It is a beautiful drive from our house and about 3 hours one way. I never saw more Krieghoff and other high end shotguns in one place!
I bought this gun this year. I am a very average size guy. 5 10 185. Out of the box the stock/LOP was well short. The comb was a good 1/4 inch too low. I had an adj comb and a kick eez pad installed plus an additional spacer in front of the pad. The gun smashes targets now I have it set up for me. Get an adj comb. I cannot stress this enough. Should be a crime to make them without.
I got the 32. Shoots fantastic. Beautiful wood. I also got the White with the adjustable comb. Browning has a top performer with this gun. I always look forward to using it.
Hey this is panfishing lost my account are you planning on going to the grand American still? I am coming up soon and wondered if we can meet somewhere and shoot a practice round. If you'd like we can text when and where to meet up and then shoot a practice round ... 319-572-4026
I just bought one too. I have a question, in this video did the top lever lock open when you were putting it together? or did you have to hold it to the right to mate the barrels to it? I keep seeing other videos where the O/U locks open but mine doesn't. Wonder if that's for all citoris?
I love this gun! Ive put roughly 600 rounds through it so far and there have been no malfunctions or misfires. I crush the targets out of the house, it's actually pretty surprising. It was pretty windy today with gusts up to 40 mph and I didn't have a problem breaking them, at first it was tough but I ended up with a 22, 24 and 25 which I was ok with. I went from a flat rib gun to a midrib with the citori and my only problem is that i have to learn to float the bird with sporting clays. All in all it is the best gun on the market for the money.
+David Montgomery Yes it is a neutral cast! Its a good ambidextrous gun for the lefty or the righty, the only thing troublesome for the lefty is the release lever to open the gun, it pushes to the right for a lefty instead of pulling to the left like a custom gun would!
Hey @panfishing101! Sorry this is so late I just saw your comment. Here is the link for the URL for the Citori Crossover on Browning's Website! www.browning.com/products/firearms/shotguns/citori/discontinued/citori-crossover-target.html The micro version is much small and intended for youth, so depending on your size and strength, a micro may be a better fit for you. I wouldn't take everything Browning says too literal, I'm sure the Micro CX is a great gun but the full size is just as great. I can't even find a picture of the micro or the specs that go along with it but if your above 5'6" and have confidence, i would go for the full size. Plus you'll have some growing room. I got this jun from Joel Etchen Guns. They are located in Pennsylvania and have great service. www.joeletchenguns.com I don't know if you can buy it at the grand american but I will find out this year when I go! It comes with an Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full Choke tubes, lubed up and ready to go. Yes this gun is good for doubles. It can pretty much shoot anything, it just takes a matter of time to get used to the raised rib and floating the target. This is with all guns though. The raised rib allows you to see more of the bird before you pull the trigger which works very well for skeet. I happen to suck at sporting clays but my trap game (and olympic trap game) has gone up substantially because of this gun! If you have any more questions feel free to comment and let people know about the video! Thanks- Zach
it takes the browning invector plus choke tubes and comes with an IC, Mod, and Full. Ive shot doubles with it a couple of times and liked it. I have the 30 inch so it swings nicely. Shoots 60/40
