Is it necessary to wear the UV clear glasses when you are inside the house? Mine are hideous and huge. Not as nice as the ones you had.

Don’t forget to tell people what it cost, and that insurance will not pay for a premium lens. You’re looking at anywhere between $10-$13,000 for both eyes depending on where you live.. driving vision is great but there’s no way he would be able to read anything with both eyes set for distance. Do your research.

I have the light adjustable lens, and Tuesday is my lock in date. The vision is really good with each eye on its own. If you have one eye adjusted for reading, and one eye for distance remember it’s going to take some getting used to. I work with Numbers all day and have to look at a computer monitor as well as paperwork. I’m probably going to have to get cheaters for detail Because my right eye is blurry for close-up and interferes with the left one. it’s better than what I had before but it’s definitely not perfect

I'm 69 years old and have had LAL's put in both eyes. I am currently in the process of healing and prior to my initial adjustment. To be honest, I'm a little frustrated at this point because I'm having to wear different glasses for computer work and reading my phone. I still work part time using spreadsheets and fine printed paper. I'm hoping that after my adjustment I can have the same results that Andy has had. I made the suggestion to the RxSight representative at my last appointment to include sunglasses with readers as I do have a problem with reading the dashboard of my truck. The clear glasses with no readers provided as of now have been no use, but sunglasses with readers would make driving more comfortable during the day. Hoping for a happy ending.

Thanks for this video. I am considering a LAL for my second eye. The other has a mono focal set for distance (dominant eye) placed in the sulcus after capsular bag rupture and vitrectomy for lens fragments. Luckily it is plano. I am a photographer.

My Final LAL lock-in was two days ago. Even during the adjustment period, I would look around me and be amazed/thankful to have such incredible vision. Can't recall having this good of vision with or without glasses/contacts. To summarize your video is easy -- i.e., ditto :)

Dr. Kung do you treat people with floaters? I live in nyc and my ophthalmologist said my eye is ok and there is nothing to do with the floaters.
