Slingshot® is a three-wheeled, open-air roadster that delivers a ride like nothing else you’ve ever experienced. The Slingshot is powered by a Prostar 2.0-liter engine with a sporty five-speed manual transmission or intuitive AutoDrive transmission and comes in a variety of models that turn even the most mundane into something extraordinary.
"Who am I to change these wheels after Polaris spent tons of money on R&D..." * Meanwhile, owning a nationally recognized company whose goal is to literally modify vehicles against their original design.
I hear that lovely whining sound from the angle drive or belt or whatever it is. Mine is a 2021 and it does the same thing. Sometimes louder than this one
I got the new SLR. Didn’t like the way it shifts with the auto shift. So I spent about $800 more for paddle shift. Wasn’t no better thought it would shift like the Yamaha YXZ paddle shift I had. But it doesn’t.. I’m regretting I got the slingshot now…😢
Hey JP, we appreciate this feedback. The Slingshot AutoDrive is very different than any other automatic transmission, so it won't feel like anything you've had before! You can learn more about how AutoDrive works here bit.ly/3zW72kc
I love my 2023 R Graphite Gray/Blue. I still think they need to add an air intake and maybe even better exhaust on the Roush model. They are a performance company after all.
Yes a lot of people care about this stuff your just a loser and has nothing and your jealousy of awesome and amazing toy keep your comment to yourself buddy
Richard response to all the work they did was “we still have a lot of a## busting to do”… people like him can’t keep friends for more than 5 years at a time, can’t keep a relationship for more than 3 months, can’t keep employees for more than a few years. Just a user and abuser.
License requirements vary by state. Currently, a standard driver’s license is required to operate a Slingshot in every state except MA, which does require a motorcycle license. For more info visit: slingshot.polaris.com/en-us/license-requirements/
No, itz a motorcycle. Some motorcycles have had heat for decades!. The slingshot needs ac & heat. Heat or ac does not make a vehicle a car. The vanderhall also needs ac, they do have something like a heater now. My sling has roof, tht turns convertible. I also have soft doors & windows for rainy days. No ac on those days or while sitting in traffic is killer! @jessebacon817
