Hi I'm Jules! Welcome to The Jule Box Studios!! My channel is all about paper crafting and some home decor. I create lots of different things like layouts, scrapbook pages for albums, card making, mixed media projects; I also create event ensembles like invitations with name tags, food labels, menus and other fun pieces to match!!
My online shop is currently open! I’ve recently been posting personal de-stash items, here's the link www.thejuleboxshop.com/
Yes! You are a sewer, too! Loved this tutorial ! Love everything you made! I have recently sewn some things for a new baby…mostly flannel, but some gauze and some quilting cotton. The gauze feels great, but I found it a little harder to sew!
Awww, thank you for that! I really like the gauze fabric but i do see your point, it can be a little fussy to keep it from gathering or folding while sewing. This was a fun project too!! Ty for your comment! Jules
Hi! I have a full product list on my blog here thejuleboxstudios.com/baby-sewing-project-making-bibs-washcloths-burp-cloths-and-rabbit-ear-teethers/ but for the rings I got them here amzn.to/490DzRT Thanks for watching!
This was awesome, I really think you are a sewer👏👏👏. Yes my momma taught me the same way! Ohhh how I miss her🥰. I know those gifts will be well used and appreciated. I’ve never sewn with gauze yet, but it looks to have sewn up nicely. I have included a layer of the ripstop material in the middle of a bib as it is waterproof. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed the interaction w/momma. 🥰❤️😀
@@TheJuleBoxStudios Ms. Jule :) my daughter request that I try and I did lol. I did my best, they not as beautiful as your, but we made the best of them. I want to say thank you for your inspiration and your time to share your project. We got good feed back, again thank you and much love to you and your family... hugs and kisses 💕💕😘😘
Hi! It's cotton gauze/bubble fabric. There's a lot of info and pictures on my blog with product lists! Thanks for watching!! thejuleboxstudios.com/baby-sewing-project-making-bibs-washcloths-burp-cloths-and-rabbit-ear-teethers/
I bought some of this type of fabric. I made kerchief bibs & burp cloths. I have lots left so I can make wash clothes ❤❤❤thank you for the idea. ✔️👍💜❤️🙂
Hi! I love these projects but I have a question. What I know as chipboard is a type of lumber like plywood made with chunks of wood glued together. So, is there another name for what you use that I might know it as? Thank you!
Hello! I’ve never known chipboard as a type of plywood, that’s funny. I’ve always known this as chipboard which is a cardboard that comes in different thicknesses. Maybe “Bookboard” “Binderboard” or “Kraft Cardboard”?
Hey I just found your channel! You are so talented! One question what kind of glue gun do you use? I love how tiny the nozzle is so precise! I subscribed!❤️
Thank you so much! I use a very old @surebonder brand that they don’t make anymore. They have one they call “detailed nozzle” but it’s nothing like the original. I appreciate the sub!!
I love that collection! I have it, but I haven’t used it yet. You were in my town! I went to the Puyallup expo one time, many many years ago and never again. It has never been that big, even when all of the other ones were. Nya is beautiful!💕
Hey! OMG, you live out there? Awesome! I remember goint to the Portland Expo years ago and there were TONS of vendors! It's not been that big in years. Niyah is super cute huh?! Thanks! 🥰
Wow! Loved how everything turned out! That was so much work, but it paid off! Just stunning! Thanks for sharing the process. I’m so sorry about your dad. ❤
Its so good to hear your voice again, Maybe you can straighten out that bend, just wet it a little and put something really heavy on it. LOVE the Distress Inks. Do you have another channel? Great papers. Hugs Terrie
Dollar Tree sells wood cut outs, laser cut shapes, in their crafting section and they have a pack that looks like skeleton keys! SCORE! They are slightly smaller than the keys you used but I am definitely going to use some of them. I want to say there are 6 in a pack for $1.25. Can't beat that. I"ll put gesso on them like you did with the keys from Michael's. Also, I discovered some skeleton keys that I'd been hoarding forever and I may use those too. My embossing folder came in the mail yesterday and I did a little dance. 😄Thanks for the inspiration!
I finally found one of the sizzix swirls embossing folders on eBay! Yay! Next on my treasure hunt will be skeleton keys. It's hilarious how many years I am spending gathering the supplies to make these! LOL. I can't believe I still like them so much after all these years! 🌲❤😊
Your things are so cute~!!! You have such patience to do such small things.... never thought about using chipboard to make the " boards ".... genius.... Thanks for sharing..
Wow your ornaments are beautiful you did an amazing job thank you so much for sharing them I accidentally stumbled on your channel and I'm so happy I did
Hi Jules! I love all your Christmas ornaments! Great idea to create the hoops and the tobacco baskets yourself! Wishing you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving holiday! ~ Katie 💕☺️
Hey Jules love your goodies. So sorry about Charlie. I read it in your Facebook. It’s so hard to lose our fur babies. Thinking of you my friend. Take care.
I’m sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your memories of Charlie. These dogs become so much apart of our families. My yorkie Gabby passed on 10/19/2022. I miss her so much she was 16 yrs old. She died unexpectedly. She had doggie dementia which I didn’t know dogs could get. she was a sweet little dog, she was feisty and would make this funny growl to express herself. We had a routine with her now that she was older. When she passed, my daily routine was off. We have another yorkie he’s 4 he knows she gone he’s not quiet the same at times. He’s never been alone. I have good days when I don’t cry and days that I do. Nights are hard for me when it’s time to go to bed. I have her ashes next to her sister. sorry for your family loss. Hugs
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Lester April 19th to bladder cancer. On July 23rd, my sweet Violet Rose died from cardiomyopathy at only 6 years old. The only reason I know this is because I had a necropsy performed on her. She was fine in the morning, then when I got home from work, she was not herself. She died in my arms that night. I lost my Ivan nearly a month ago to a ruptured spleen. He was bleeding into his belly. I will never be the same. So much loss. I still have my Henry, and after Violet passed, I got a new puppy, Agnes Grace. She saved me.
That is so funny! Yes, back in the day everyone would cut off buttons off cloths and zipper because people have money back then. Wow, yes my mother would make tops pants for me and I also got hand me down clothes. I love all those bags of treasures your mother gave you. Back in the day all of the grandparents the parents would save all the little trinklets in a bag or a button box. I can remember them taking clothes apart and saving certain items and reusing them. We grow up poor to and I'm very grateful to have to have that experience. Later in life when you have nothing you learn to survive. I raised my children the same. Crocheting, making curtains, house repairs. Over the years watching my mother have done this. Kids today wouldn't survive because they expect new stuff and name brands. I miss my mother she passed 12 years ago. Then two years ago I lost my Uncle, father and my oldest sister. Their is only my sister and our children left. Thank you for sharing
