The only mod I had made was a Lloyd's exhaust and the numbers were: HP - 79.59 Torque - 112.51 Then I ended up getting the Lloyd's 585 cams, tuner and Lloyd's air intake, took me to: HP 106.47 Torque - 131.07
Your wrong about your statement about Japanese were fearful to the America’s. The Japanese have a code No Surrender, No Retreat. That’s why there people die in Banzai Cliff and suicide cliff bc of that code and in the Philippines they had a Japanese soldier who was hiding, didn’t want to surrender despite the ww2 was over. They rather die then to surrender. I was raise on the island my whole life and I never heard a Japanese being fearful. There the most Discipline, Ruthless, and Fearless soldiers during wwll.
Mark, I don't think the Japanese military was fearful of the Americans, but I heard that they had sowed rumors to make the civilians living on the island afraid of what the Americans would do to them. If you go to American Memorial Park, there is a theater there that goes through the history of the island/fight and that is what they reported. So, I'm not personally saying what people were thinking/feeling at that time as I wasn't there. I'm just going off of what I heard. Thanks for the clarification!
Very strong typhoons/hurricanes tend to have really compact cores, with winds immediately around the eye much stronger than just a few miles away. This video clearly shows that outside the inner eyewall (nothern Saipan) winds were much weaker. I would give no more than cat 2-equivalent gusts (around 100 mph) for much of this area.
The video clearly shows the severe damage caused by the super typhoon's inner eyewall (a small ring around the eye where the winds are stronger) to southern Saipan (many trees debarked, where gusts likely reached or exceeded 180 mph, specially towards the end of the video). Northern parts of the island stayed outside the inner eyewall and had much lighter winds/damage.
If the eye had moved over the northern end of the island it would have been even worse for Saipan, as the westerly winds south of the eye would have pushed a storm surge towards the most populated west coast. Since the eye was to the south over Tinian, winds were blowing offshore (from the east/southeast) pushing the water away from the beaches.
Hi Ryan, glad to see you're ok! I'm a journalist with The Associated Press in Honolulu and am covering the storm. Would you be willing to hop on the phone to talk about what you experienced? If it's possible, you can call me 808.253.9948. Here's a link to our latest story: www.apnews.com/13600532b6cb4b93a232a84887e91dc1 Thank you! -- Caleb Jones, AP
Keep up the great work keep on uploading and soon you will be a great RU-vidr and have Millions of fans. And to prove that you have a lot of fans for a new channel.
What I like is that I'll never myself be able to go somewhere like this and I felt like I got to experience it myself a little. Normally POV videos literally give me motion sickness. I can't watch movies like Cloverfield or End of Watch, but the style you used was much smoother and easily watchable, didn't want to puke once 😁 In all seriousness, I dig it. Keep'em coming!
+Margaret Sherfy thank you! I definitely have that same problem with POV videos and was one of the reasons I got a gimbal. It helps stabilize the shot and takes the sudden movements out of it. Thank you for the vote of confidence! The next one is just around the corner!
