So is riding the catch fence still possible on the Centripetal circuit and can anyone tell me how one would go about getting the wheels up on the wall in order to transition from the skid pad to the wall/fence? I have come across some statements that seemed to imply that it might not be possible to do any more, which I suppose would be a good thing as far as physics and realism go,, seeing that I'm fairly confident that it would be impossible IRL, and not just because the fencing isn't going to hold up to however many times at least 2000 lbs. at however many G it takes to stick it to a vertical surface and keep it there. Sorry about the horrendous run on sentence! Helpful hints would be hugely appreciated!

Where did you find the Silverstone 1950/51 layouts? I'm aware Stowe and Becketts took a shortcut across the runway apron in those years, but it is the first time I saw Copse do the same.

The 1st Adelaide Grand Prix at the street circuit was in 1985 won by Keke Rosberg and it was also Niki Lauda's final race,I was there and was 13yrs old at the time. Unforgettable experience

Brilliant video! Former Skip Barber mechanic and racer in 1990-91. The 2 best years of my life! Also best IMSA GTP w Gurney Toyota and Tom Walkinshaw Jags. The big course would have been epic. But that is Watkins Glen. How about short, fast, flowing and great for sportscars (racecars were still sportscars in 1957). I still get seat time in my 97 flyin Miata at open track days throughout the year. ❤ Lime Rock Park
For a future event, is there any chance to take a Formula E car and set it up with batteries of lesser capacity than usual to have more car changes in the same race? Then stage the event at a really long track like LeMans 24 or the Nordschleife or something where the distance to the pitlane can be crucial.
I doubt the inhabitants at the Zoo would have appreciated the noise. And Frome St was then part of the hospital. Plus the back of the uni would have been very disruptive. I have done a good part of that though at a GP 'display' From te Parade ground, into King William, then Pultney St into the GP track and 3 or 4 laps back into Pultney into the Frome St. Then back behind the uni to the Parade ground. All this in Fri lunchtime traffic. Without the promised closed roads and police escort. Yes it was a circus!
