Really? What was it for you? The later games took on more of a "murder everything hilariously" tone but the first was always strongly photography-centric for me
I love the drama at 22:35 where they discuss whether Isabella should help and Frank just stands there in his crop top, tight shorts and plastic helmet and clears his throat.
I might have to give it a shot. I remember only hearing bad things about it. The timer missing comes to mind, but honestly I'm okay with that. It's a neat thing where some info can be lost depending on the time and the world goes on without you (Pathologic 2, in example), but when the timer gets tight the stress is too much.
Shame about the final boss being weak, after the ring mission was so good. Still, great game, absolutely looking forward to whatever Sandlot does next.
"It's okay, i can apparently, willingly just go back in time and change the future . Apparently, we can do that now." Yep, that's called "save/load" feature, that is the player's ultimate weapon.
Also, spinEl is a sort of a gem. It can be cut into any shape, so they could've chosen any other, like diamond or amethyst or ruby, etc. Also, good job, and thanks for the great series! Also, EDF! EDF!! Also, how about a "Wingdiver Yeti EDF run" challenge? ... No? Okay.
I'd love to see you do the DLCs even in the future, or maybe a run as another class. Lost Days and the other DLC with the AI Simulation run by "Malice" have their own little storylines and they're pretty cool. Its been wonderful watching your EDF6 series though, nice to see a full Air Raider playthrough, watched Cenorexias Ranger playthrough, now someone needs to do a Wing Diver and Fencer playthrough lol. I'm still waiting to be able to get into the game, but I'll have a lot of fun then, almost done 100%ing EDF5, will do it again here. Its nice seeing Air Raider be competent on his own!
They are actually pronouncing spinel correctly. It sounds less dumb if you imagine it coming from someone poorly pronouncing things in an Italian accent they kind of heard (since that's more or less how the etymology went), but we completely anglicized spine and don't call it spin-uh, so chalk it up to English not caring about consistency I suppose.
@@ClosetYeti not at all, just mix any two food items. I would pick cabbage or beer/wine as the first ingredient, if possible. Those usually end up with a generally useful smoothie. There's one in particular that sometimes makes you sick that you want to avoid, so I wouldn't use coffee creamer, as that seems to be the most common ingredient in that smoothie.
One episode left after this. I really hope you come back once the mines are finished. I see the devs last had a blog update last month and they're also adding a metro!
I... I don't know what to say. I have vague memories of this game, but I might confuse it with another one, because this seems terrible for a few other reasons than the game I remember. The story (15 min in) is almost as strong as a p*rn film, the animations are.. let's say lacking. I'm sticking around to watch to see what you make of this Yeti.
Truthfully it's pretty awful, but for being Dead Rising I expected jank. Thankfully this is just a remaster instead of a remake, so I went in hoping for better AI, better controls, and.. well that's it. However, as a game on its own with the nostalgia glasses off, it's pretty awful. There's not a lot of ambience - almost none, in fact. Some areas of the mall are dead silent (ha-HA) aside from your footsteps. No zombie moans, no machinery working, no distant music and no sounds of glass breaking or objects falling as zombies "bump" into them. The world outside of Frank simply doesn't exist. Zombies affected by props don't persist, dense areas struggle to load them in (even with the setting at max), and there's even a zombie in the beginning hanging out by the gas station frozen in time until you get close. Very odd to still see stuff like that. I would have expected leaps in tech to shine here but this is feeling like a big overhaul mod on an emulated game.
@@TheEyeOfTheEye A benefit is the game isn't terribly long, either. After the 72 hours that's it. There was an "overtime" mode if you made it back to the helicopter on that 72nd hour but I dunno if I mess with that.
