Let me explain, Ruby and Otis's relationship wouldn't last long, there was 100% going to be a problem, Otis was not happy at all, understand, they were doing nothing but having sex and making Ruby dress Otis weird. They would break up in the future based on Ruby's ego or something else. That's right, The best Maeve was in season 1, but suddenly, you like the relationship between Ruby and Otis more because the short-term relationships attract your attention. I think the scriptwriters have handled the saying "Lovers will always be reunited" very well in terms of love. Don't like momentary things.
Ruby and Otis really could’ve had something but the writers continued to force Maeve and Otis, you can’t build a relationship up on trust issues obsession and infatuation. but with Ruby and Otis it just felt natural because of the chemistry.
Idc what anyone says Otis is a fucking dickhead for doing that to Ruby. like how you going to ask someone out but not tell them you love them , he never wanted to say I love you he should have continued being sex partners 🤦🏾♀️

I don't know why the people in this show expect someone to love them after being together for a few months in high school like they barely even love and/or know themselves at that age. Like why they broke up is so weird. Its probably because Ruby and Ola always knew they could never compete with Maeve.
At 1st, I thought ruby was a pure drama queen and B-I-T-C-H in season 1, but after seeing Rotis(Otis x Ruby) in season 3,I was speechless,because of how their chemistry and was so cute and quite interesting, I said fuck maeve x otis,cause rotis was such a beautiful ship.
Hear me out- Ruby and Otis are cute I can’t lie…But it’s always been Maeve and Otis. He likes Ruby and respects her but he LOVES Maeve and he always has since they locked eyes. Their chemistry is undeniable and I think his heart belongs to Maeve. I’ve seen the new trailer though so maybe I’m wrong. I’m still Team Maeve though and I really hope they ALL get their happy ever afters!
The show built up Otis n maeve for 2 seasons but the chemistry between ruby and Otis was so strong that, it took 3 episodes for people to realise rotis is much better! I just hope they don’t ruin it in the next season! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
I wish that in like s1 while looking for the treasure they somehow find out jj and Sarah are siblings. Or they find out while looking through wards stuff, and it creates conflict. Then yk they grow the sibling dynamic and become much closer as the seasons go by.
They actually are half siblings bc neither of their biological moms have made an appearance so I looked it up and on most of the websites it says they are half siblings.
The series did not have the courage to prolong the relationship due to the plot of otis and maeve. If they had continued for two more episodes, there would not have been a fan who would have had the courage to think about the breakup of this couple
I didn’t think I could like Otis with anyone but Maeve, him and Orla just were not it for me but then when he and Ruby hooked up it’s truly the perfect pairing. Ruby is the “I hate everyone but you type” and Otis is the sunshine golden retriever boyfriend. It’s perfect and they brought out the best in each other. Ruby was becoming more open with her feelings and Otis was becoming more confident. Not even Maeve made him as happy as Ruby does. If they aren’t endgame I’m done.
