@@_lLexa_l everything that is sexualized is not automatically fan service. It made sense for her because it was to further embarrass her that people saw her that way. But almost every other female character had “fan service” moments like that too
@@sharkgirl74if they wanted to “embarrassed” her, then they didn’t need to sexualized her, it was obviously fan service because who honestly trip and fall in those type of positions like that? Like I think the creator knew exactly what they were doing like even her execution was very fan-servy.
@@Its_nautiee Mikan’s whole character is bullied her whole life and continues to be when she gets on the island. Her entire concept and existence is literally to be a victim and to be harassed, thats why her hair is choppy and why she has bandages and why she lets people do whatever she wants to her. Her punishment is explicit because monokuma is exploiting her sexual assault and making her relive her trauma in her last moments. Hes a bad guy thats what he does. It wouldnt make sense for her to have some random generic punishment when the whole point of the punishments is supposed to bring max levels of despair. What is more despairing than SA? Do some research before labeling everything as “fanservice”
Tbh she was so annoying and just an exuse for fan service, i wish they did more with her character and givin her a way better execution, if they givin her more than just a sorry excuse of a fan service character i would have liked her more

I hate seeing these clips because Mikan (despite the fan service) is actually really cute and I hate seeing cute characters break down and cry bc it genuinely hurts me. (I litterally shed a tear when himiko cried in V3) and just seeing her ask and beg for forgiveness is just the cherry on top that hurts me
SPOILERS I woulda fuckin hated this twist if it didn't turn out that she was brainwashed. Big props to the devs for being able to pull off the "cute girl is actually freaky" cliche in a good way
