"Why is the Hail button the same as the get out of seat button"? Because Bethesda heard of quality of life and decided it didn't want to have anything to do with it. The unfortunate mapping of buttons and ambiguity of buttons vs. what they do is a hallmark of their interfaces.
No, it's be cause he HELD the key. Getting up is a hold action. Answering a hail is a tap action. Same key, yes, but you have to press and hold the key to get up.
@@ChozoSR388 - Doesn't contradict what I said. That's why I said ambiguity. And the difference in hold-time vs single click seems off sometimes. Sometimes Bethesda uses absurdly long times (like going into workbench mode in Fallout) and sometimes it seems like about 1 second. It would be nice if you could adjust it via interface and not via editing of an ini file. Also: Mapping an action to the same button as standing up is perhaps not the smartest decision. If we look at R*, they usually use Y to enter, exit a vehicle (on a controller) but X, A and B for actions. So no confusion there.
I'm the same guy commenting about the stairs and water, I actually have like 100 hours in Daggerfall Unity and I love that game. I also played Morrowind for like 200 hours and it's my all time favourite rpg. I think it's simply a bad design choice to not just walk on stairs, and instead keep jumping. I also think the same about intant death in water, there are better ways to handle that, even if you don't want players to go into water. I do game dev as a long time hobby. I would also like to add that I didn't mean that comment very seriously, I still highly appreciate the developer who made this, it still looks pretty fun, especially since it's free. I never heard of this game, but the fact that you can't go up f*ing stairs (~1:40) without continuosly jumping, and then immediately dying by touching the water just made me hate this game.
I find it hard to rank these as I like all of them though the last two are my least favourites probably. I like the self titled a lot more than you. What surprised me the most about your ranking though was where you put Get Your Heart On. Most fans rank it first or second
Im a big fan of fallout new vegas and I love your videos on it, keep it up Edit: i would heavily advise going the long way to vegas, you can get a lot of xp from quests along the way, also the reason your shotgun wasnt reloading normally is because of its poor condition, you need to repair it. Also how do you have 500k caps
Goodsprings is intended to be a training mission, people there explain what the game is about, but you didn't learn a thing. That first guy you killed, you were supposed to wait until you have been given the quest, but you just killed him, that's why they don't like you. You're going to have real trouble advancing in the game if you keep just doing your own thing and not following the quest lines.
The magic of fallout new vegas is that you don't really have to follow the quest line and you can just go wherever you please. Is it a good idea to follow the questline? yeah of course, but you dont necessarily have to.
It’s an ok game, playing last few days on my holidays. Very dated by today’s standards and very slow to start. Gunplay is pretty terrible, I’d give it a 5/10 so far. Definitely overhyped imho. Will come back to edit this if my opinion changes once I’ve finished it

I'll be honest making these videos helps me give me purpose in life and I have come to realize that I probably won't ever get big but just making these videos allows me to paly all these games that I wouldn't ever paly if I didn't make these videos. To me it's not about making it big anymore but just about enjoying making videos on games I want to play.
