Great vlogs. My wife and two kids now 8 and 13 moved here to Orlando 2 yrs ago from Lancashire. We like it here too, there are challenges and tbh it’s taken us about 2 yrs to adjust and I am finally starting to enjoy the lifestyle more now. I am a nurse and work in Adventhealth in Downtown but we live in St. Cloud. Youngest lad jumped right in to school but my 13 yr old daughter has struggled to make friends and bullying is an issue here unfortunately. Pros and cons, more pros and cons!!! Thanks for your transparency! Would be great to compare notes. LOL
Just a side note. Honeymoon period. I hope it will be one long honeymoon for you but most people have a downer after about 3-6 months, every single nurse I know who came from around the world went through it, including me but it gets better eventually. Miss the humour of UK and sarcasm, also international news, no humour here with Americans they take themselves far too seriously. LOL. Enjoy the ride!
Really loving these vlogs, so interesting. Especially love the shopping ones. Our family have been to Florida many times but not for about 7years so I’m a bit shocked at some of the prices of groceries there now. For the bread dilemma for beans on toast we used to get a sliced loaf called wonderbread which wasn’t sweet like the others. Also the artisan bread from fresh bakery sections in places like publix is usually very good but pretty expensive. X
Oh I miss those sunsets they are so stunning ❤ The 10/10 cookie looked very yummy! If you want really nice shells you should go to the beach this week as you'll find many after the storm. But best would be to go to Anna Maria Island or even Venice (for shark teeth) Thats the place I wanted to move to when I was younger. I love Venice

Remember that places like TJMaxx and Home Goods are those kind of places that if you like something you need to get it there and then.Once gone that’s it,they probably won’t be restocked.If you shop say in October looking for Halloween stuff there won’t be any good stuff left .

Florida is just so nice! Was even better years ago. I moved from Boston, Massachusetts in 1989. I used to come down every year on vacation and figured I would just move here. Although moving within the US is easy of course..relocating from another country is so hard. My parents did it with us when I was just 3 years old. Your children will lose their beautiful English accents as it gets lost if u come to America before you are 10 yrs old or so. but you guys will always have them for them to enjoy. 🇺🇲 🇬🇧

We are Loving following your family's journey! We are about to start a visa application process to hopefully make our Florida dreams come true, too. Our kids are 11 and 8 and being able to show them how much fun yours are having and how much they aren't scared has been a big help. The hubby cottoned on to Lucas Lagoons this vlog. We have watched Insane Pools on repeat for years! A grotto is my Florida dream hahahaha. Thanks for vlogging your journey and experience, can't wait to see more.
