I have another question i made my animated character talk and i made his expression and all that but how do i edit it in real life footage like you did like how you made it fit so smoothly in your footage could you make a tutorial on that or is it easy to explain here
For some reason, it seems like I'm unable to find any face motion capture apps on my S23 android phone. I don't know if it's an update thing, but I wonder if anyone is having a similar issue.
Wait i have a question i can make them talk but can i make them move as well? Like i want to animate a character TALKING And Also MOVING at the same time but will this effect the Facial Motion Capture? Like can i make them move while talking?
Hi David, You can absolutely animate the character as well. You just need to rig your model in the same way as normal, with an armature, and because the facial motion capture is driven by shape keys, not bones, it won't disrupt your animation at all. Hope this helps!
@@jasperpagan2237 Ok thank you so much this helps a lot because I already have the rig and I just needed that to be clarified thank you very much and I would never have expected a tutorial like this in years this is so advanced lol
Thanks for the video! I have a question. Do you think it would be possible to control a 2D face rig with the facial motion capture? Here's a example what I would I mean: Google: "Face 2D Live by Daydream Studios" It's a plugin for Unreal Engine. But I was wondering if there's a way to get a similar result in Blender. I was thinking: having simple shapes of a 2D looking face - instead of having a 3D modeled head. And giving those shapes the corresponding Shape Keys.
@jasperpagan hey man I just watched the PPS and few other videos. Funny stuff, good work I have written some feature screenplays and I'm looking for someone to get involved I have produced a few music videos of my own and I also create music Do you have instagram or something so we can chat?
I agree 100%. I have seen that many times in real life, I have actually seen someone build a gate incorrectly and then explained to them why it is wrong But in reference to films maybe it's just Americans in general that build gates incorrectly, not just the set designers and crew?
great idea! the current application of the animation on the 3D models looks nightmerish, i wouldn't want to use it on my projects but you did inspire me to look into facial rigging.
As he says, there are loads of apps out there and some are free, even android has some. He's showing you his favorite because he thinks it works the best based on trial and error. Sometimes things that aren't free tend to work better.
This is AWESOME!!! I am working on my own project and something you showed in this video is something that I can really use. Thank you so much and I hope you flourish in all that you do.
