Motorcycles dominate my channel driven by my passion for the sport and my close to six decades of being involved. My Book Revues are reactions to books I have purchased including motorcycles and other areas of interest. Books on Art, Business, Philosophy and Fiction. Many of these have sat dormant on by bookshelf until they were dusted of by my reading project. The narration, views and the content are my own. I am in many ways a child of the street so please excuse my Street English. Like them if you do and subscribe if you care.
Show some respect and take this down please. You seriously (really) cannot know how much work has gone and still goes into creating this incredibly hard working lady's self-made, self-earned brand. Go create something for yourself instead of trying to cash in on someone else's hard-earned success
Thank you for your comment I have supported Itchy boots for years and am one of her subscribers. I care about spreading a love for the sport of motorcycling not about cashing in. You have a valid point of view and I appreciate you comment.
There isn't a way to explain any 'would-be' benefits apart from hunting for clicks! If such a fan then, you will be aware of her heart-felt plea for her work to be left alone to be featured and presented by HERSELF ALONE!!
Thank you for your comment I checked and did not breach any copyright. My goal has not changed in the last 70 years and I will continue to spread a love for the sport.
@winding-roads as you can see I all other comments. This is not the right way to do it. It is leaching of others. Shame on you this has notthing to do with the love of the sport
Thank you for your comment. Narrating on the written an visual mediums and giving perspective while spreading a love for a sport and supporting someone you admire is just not copying. I have been involved in motorcycling for over 60 years and will never stop advocating for the sport.
I think it's a 250 cc which has being bored out to 288 cc & Honda have called it a new bike-which it is not. It begs the question when they do this is that normally when the factory make a 250 cc motorbike the rest of the engine including the crankshaft con rod & bearings including the frame & chassis are built to a weight to suit a 250 cc engine & it's out put. However when you bore it out it's no longer a 250cc motorcycle & you've incresed the output (hp), however the strength & integrity of the engine is still designed for 250 cc. So, what do you think happens-you reduce the life cycle of the engine for a start as the components were never designed for the larger displacement. You had big problems with this motorcycle with the engine requiring a full strip down & from memory you broke the sub frame. But I would have thought the biggest issue with it for you is that you had 2 very serious accidents requiring recovery. Somehow you rode the Royal Enfield over far more challenging terrain in extreme weather, yet you never suffered any serious accidents requiring time off. I'm not suggesting the Himalayan as the only option however the Triumph Scrambler 400X & the CF Moto450MT, as well as the Himalayan 452 are designed with bigger mileages in mind & as such they are built to handle it. The CRF 288 Rally is basically a gorified trail bike. It is not an adventure bike in the true sense of the word, as it is too small in capacity. You need a minimum of 350-400cc otherwise it simply won't cover the miles reliably. I've heard this thing running over difficult terrain & it sounds like a toy, like a sewing machine. You're waisting your time.
I saw Mike on the Honda six at Brands Hatch when I was in my early teens - this bike was on another level to other bikes and left them all standing. If Mike and the Honda turned up, the winner was not in doubt.
Das waren noch Zeiten, ich habe die 5-Zylinder 125 er und die 6- Zylinder 250 er auf der Dresdner Autobahnspinne gesehen, ein Traum!!! So etwas gibt es leider nicht mehr!! 💪👍🤗🙋
I also chatted with Steve Dick thirty years after that race. The pervious round had been in Calgary and Steve and Miguel had a long discussion at a local Calgary bike shop. I have known Steve for 55 years and he can be a very good raconteur. He expressed regret about informing the teenaged Miguel of his valuable knowledge. I can, and did, pay to be a patient listener.
I chatted with the legendary Yvon DuHamel, father of Miguel, before that race. Yvon told me that the cylinder head had never been off of Miguel's Kawasaki. A souped up street bike! Yvon knew people...
Wow wonderful video. All the videos on your channel are fantastic. But your video views are lower. Because your optimization is very poor. Your optimization needs to improve as soon as possible.,................,.
I have watched her do all the regular maintenance one could expect a proficient rider do under the most atrocious condition. If I were alone in Africa in the dead of night and my bike would not start I would take all the help I could get and I have been a wrench on road race team. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it!
I used to go downstairs in the Mouse Hole for my music because the Riverboat was, like, over my head. Gordon Lightfoot was already getting raves at the Riverboat. Went into some hippie houses on the street that were already snobby. Like, we’re cooler than you, what are you doin in here🙄.
