I'm having that bottle for more than 1 year now. I love it but yes, it does not integrate any filter. PureVis 2 model is coming on October WITH the integrated filter. It looks great and it is 1L instead of the 720ml. Take a look on their website you can even preorder it. Note the new PureVis 2 model is compatible with the normal filter and also another kind of more advanced filter that blocks heavy metals and other stuff. ===> thank you for the review, I share the exact same opinion about that bottle.

My only question is whether or not I have to clean it still. I hate cleaning my water bottle. I’m drinking basically only tap water so i don’t care about filtering or cleaning it, but if it can keep the bottle clean for weeks without me using soap It’s an instant buy. 😂
@siddartfredrick
@siddartfredrick 20 дней назад
@@lynxrbeam8732 Hmm from my experience you’d still need to clean it once every 3-5 days. It definitely stays cleaner longer than a regular water bottle, but i’ve noticed it still gets dirty around the mouth of the bottle - especially if you’re using it while eating.

Thank you for actually testing the LARQ bottle to see if it actually kills bio contaminants. From what I see it seems like it gives peace of mind for tap water, water fountain water and other more clean water sources that could have bio contaminants or after sitting around for awhile could. Like from different tap water sources this seems useful especially if you are traveling around etc... I'd love to see a video where you use tap water or even water from a water foundation. I know that's not it main purpose but it is the use case for most people to see how contaminated the water is and how well the LARQ actually does.

I don't want this bottle. No need all that function, it's not worth it with 125$ . Better buy other brand like Yeti, Stanley, KK, Zojirushi, Hydroflask, Kinto, Revomax, Camebak...etc ,just about 35 bucks then you got a cool ultimate insulated bottle.

As everyone else suggested already, not with the original strap of course, i couldn't even keep it on my head after 30 minutes and it was not the coolest 30 minutes of my life. Prescription lenses are a must too if you wear glasses. At some point you have to swallow that you purchased a product that needs accessories to be truly usable all day but I don't regret it at all.

When sanitizing/sterilizing it is all about the sterility assurance level which is the percent chance of a harmful microbial surviving the treatment. This is usually looked at in terms of kill percentage and how long it takes for 90% of a microbial population to be killed off or one log reduction. This amount time is known as a D-value. This amount of time varies depending on the contaminate in question the temperature of exposure (if using thermal treatment methods usually 121.1 degrees C) and materials involved in the treatment (ie 316 SS). In order to obtain a specified SAL using a thermal sanitization method a certain amount of time is required where the environment must be exposed to these high temperatures. If a temperature of 121.1 dC is used with a known D-value of 2 minutes and If the exposure time is 2 minutes then this will result in one log reduction. Meaning 90% of microbial population will have been killed. However if we increase this exposure time to 20 minutes this is a 10 log reduction and 99.99999999% of the given microbial population will have been killed off. The higher the risk the longer the exposure phase should be.

If you ever re-buy the headset or are someone who wants better comfort and battery, don’t buy the elite strap. The elite strap breaks all the time, only has an extra hour, isn’t much more comfortable and is really expensive for what it is. Go buy a bobo vr battery bank and any other highly rated, 3rd party head strap

First off, why did you have to pay 900 dollars for the Quest 3? It only cost me 499 dollars here in the US. I would never use this VR headset for all day wearing business purposes, I only bought VR headsets for doing gaming. I only do around 2 hours of wearing the headset and had no discomfort with is. I did buy a 3rd party head strap and is very comfortable and cost was cheaper than the Meta elite head strap. Overall, Everything with my Quest 3 is very good and the quality visuals are much better than my previous VR headset. I would never want to wear a VR headset all day especially when looking at lenses that close to our eyes. Maybe some people can do it, but not for me. Bye!!

as a complete beginner VR user and q3 owner, i can confirm those are valid reasons. Unfortunately, fresh out of the box, q3 DOES NOT work like its advertised (or implied) and the whole experience feels incomplete. Thankfully VR community are as open as they can be about their experiences and very helpful . Also its well worth mentioning that these are personal preferences and many of the aspects of this device can be improved with a little hacking around -and a bit more budget expense. Tho i'm a happy with my purchase and i love it for the most part, oh well maybe i will also share my side of after taste: ...first of all battery is 4800 mah LITHIUM-ION and this is a VEEEERY awkward decision by meta. Lion type of batteries are unreliable. You shouldn't charge over %85 and you shouldn't drain under %25. So if you do the math, effectively, you should only use %60 mid section of the available battery and charge again for 1 hour in order to prolong battery deformation -even then its not guaranteed because it doesnt have any deformation prevention built in and you need to charge multiple times throughout the day. Considering how power hungry q3 is, 100 to 0 at full capacity q3 can go above one hour playtime -depending on the use case, then it needs to be charged again. However, trying to maintain battery level while only using the mentioned %60, means even LESS screentime. There is a power saving setting which works and provides more juice but why on earth would any one lower their visual fidelity from what already is WHILE USING THE DEVICE. Combined with awful UI navigation, random hand tracking, and constantly checking battery levels while using AND charging... actual playtime is even lesser and the experience is not something to be desired. Not to mention touch controllers batteries needs to be replaced every week, or so... not fun at all. However, final nail in the coffin is q3 batteries are not replaceable -iirc. This is just ridiculous and its obvious this device is considered done and done product by meta. Eventually they will turn their backs in about 1-2 years down the line. ...and second That strap is awful. Physically speaking this is not ergonomically adjustable at all. This is the main reason the headset doesn't sit well on your face AND EYES. And this thing is not as light as people claim it to be, maybe it is lighter than competition but it is not light on your face. All that causes pressure and eye strain that will prevent longer use. More you use it, more stressing. This kills all the joy out of it and downgrades immersive experience after 20 minutes. Constantly reminding this is just a forced illusion. It becomes harder to trick your brain, which also contributes to motion sickness stuff. Especially thanks to not aligned lens positioning and especially if you need to use prescription lenses. Luckily for me i get used to it after a while but this is something to take into consideration for every quest owner. Also this thing is fragile. Outer shell built quality is just fine but i've never seen any glasses ( or a glass ) scratch so easily. There is no protection layer whatsoever. it could even get scratch from a goddamn microfiber cloth. Im afraid to touch it. I'm afraid to share it. I'm afraid to leave it while charging. I'm afraid of it while wearing it. I'm afraid to take it out of the box in day time. Forget about droping it, im afraid pick it up at times. ...addressing the elephant in the room; These biggest issues can be remedied with extra batteries and better straps, accessories, cables, gaskets, protective stuff etc. You could call that customization , personalization, and i really appreciate the modular environment of it...i saw some dude implementing apple strap and it looks magnificently comfy. However this is also not a great advice for something i paid dearly to begin with; did you know this thing (128gb) costs up to 750$ outside of US? and no viable return policy? sketchy warranty? (Yes. Overseas, ofcourse, i know this is not mainly meta's fault but this is still my perspective of this situation and what i exactly paid for it) Excuse me for expecting this to just work as it is intended for its general use case. Which doesn't and it is evident that it is mandatory to buy more stuff just to be able to properly use the device. And if you argue otherwise, you are a clown. Combined with ungodly overpriced apps in the store, this feels like a snake oil business. ...speaking of spending more Meta Q3 accessories are just plain overpriced with bad mixed reviews. Which leaves users open to 3rd party Chinese knockout products with sketchy information. The only real viable information we can get are provided by the community for the community. Not even one single accessory provided by meta is considered fair priced and well built. Dont even get me started about "Made for Meta" branding business fiasco. Is it really too much to ask SOME company trust right after i paid the full price for it? Do we really have to watch COUNTLESS youtube videos right after we bought this thing just to be able enjoy it for a while? Look, I know this device is considered one of the best options out there, but this is not a healthy relationship and/or treatment for a company customer relationship. well worth metioning nitpicking the OS and UI is just not that great. i mean meta is updating it and im grateful for it. but still its not a full feature tool that you can just use day to day... Gaming wise its great but, media/movie experience... i was expecting a bit more. i miss OLED blacks... tracking can be PAIN sometımes... i mean all this is a hard pill to swallow and i can feel the frustration of the q3 owners. i just hope these criticisms may lead to better products in the future.

I really dislike when people find little nitpicks like this that already have a well known and obvious solution but choose to review the base model intentionally so they can complain and say dont buy it. While I do agree that Meta should be shipping these with the elite straps already those straps do cost almost $100 extra dollars. I picked a 3rd party head strap up a couple nights ago on Amazon for next day prime delivery, cost me a whole $15 and for the last 2 days i have had a blast with my quest 3. Suddenly the drooping I was experiencing with the velcro strap vanished and I was able to keep the headset firmly in place on my face, no more of it sliding 2 centimeters or less and making text impossible to read. Pick up a cheap strap, get a rechargeable battery pack and learn to love it. The more of us that buy stuff like this the more devs will want to invest in major AAA titles for VR and we will slowly get better and better headsets.

Hi all - in case you are considering getting a VR headset. I have both the HTC Elite XR and Meta Quest 3 for PCVR (sim racing only). Both are a hassle to configure for PCVR, you can literally spend days and days mucking around in settings across Meta Link app, Steam VR and Oculus Debug Tool, not knowing what most of the settings actually do. After 5 mins of changing all the different settings, you boot up the game and the game comes to a crawl or a setting you've made had worsen the visuals and frame rates. I find myself spending all night tweaking for the optimal picture quality instead of actually using it... In terms of hardware, my PC has a 4090 FE and AMD 7800X3D and I only use USB C cables for connectivity to my PC. Even with an USB C 3.2 expansion card, regardless the length and types of the USB C cable (i tried TB4, TB3 and 10Gbps USB C cables of different types), Oculus App reports speed is limited to 1.8-3 Gbps. If i think about this, the HDMI 2.1 cable I use to connect my 4090 to my LG OLED TV has a bandwidth of 48 Gbps (in order to push through the 4K image at 120hz with HDR) compared to the bandwidth a USB C cable for my Quest 3 which says i'm getting 3Gbps, that's 48Gbps vs 3Gbps and I would assume it's the video signal compression causing the visual downgrade. I am sure this is not unique to Quest 3, just dont expect the visual clarity anywhere near a 4K OLED TV (say a LG 42 inch OLED 120hz display an arm's length away), you will be disappointed. When it's working, it's awesome but when it's not and the visuals are off, the lenses are dirty or for some reason, you can't find the sweet spot, i just find myself using my monitor for sim racing. Despite my negative tone, I am very excited for where VR headset will end up. For now, it's definitely a fun "nice to have" piece of kit, it's not comfortable to use and the battery is ok but not great.

Buy a third party strap for $50. Meta had to cut some corners to make this package hit $499 US. Even still, analysts believe Meta is losing about $200 per unit with the hopes to regain that back from accessory sales and software sales. Your review seems fairly myopic and that you didn’t do very much research. I’m fine with my Quest 2 for the past 2 years. I’ll probably pick up a used Quest 3 in a couple months.
