Adding texture with high gloss over you have sealed everything can really make a model pop. Also if you are using black light or UV reactive paint do so after spraying. Learn from my mistakes
Stippling can be a great way to apply texture. Do so on separated parts to avoid overlap. Made a “reclaimed by nature” model covered in clay vines and leaves. And used a combination of LEDs and reactive paint to make the eyes glow.

I can imagine doing some weathering like staining on the whole kit so as to create believable effects, but the clear coat on the whole part is incredibly uncomfortable to watch. Surely you'd want to try to hit those pieces a little more evenly... Love some of the weathering tips and the demonstration that layering is the key.
