Algorithm is wild these days. 3 days old video of some sort of reupload that looks exactly like a 2009 YT stuff, just without the stock 007 music and obligatory "unregistered hypercam". Wonderful!

I really want to bring this style of content back from the dead, I especially miss the kind of stuff you would see on console video sharing platforms, kids just sharing stuff they did in games, minimal editing
Just did it on ps4!! As soon and you double jump hit R2 and square fast, all about timing, and wait around a couple min or maybe until you hear quark say something over the radio and then jump off and it’ll work!

Why miss an opportunity to fly around this awesome map? I only wish they let you reuse the jet fighters after the missions. When Quark is nearly finished I fly away and enjoy zooming around the map. If you destroy the drop ship inside the last room with all the enemies you can destroy the rest in the jet fighter and it's way more fun of a way to get the skill point.
It seems to have been fixed on the Greatest Hits version, I glide over there and it just puts me back into the fight when I walk to where the checkpoint should be

Doesn't seem to work on my PAL version, I think they'd fixed it by this time. I can execute the jump fine over ground, but it refuses to do a forward thrust when trying to traverse the gap.
@@machr293 North America, Japan and Europe/Aus get different release dates so sometimes developers add in fixes when they change content for outside NA.
@@davidgladwell7484 Yeah, but I did this on the PAL version as well, so unless you're trying it on the Ratchet & Clank HD Collection, there shouldn't be a difference (software at least).
Strange then, unless there's an emulator issue. I doubt it though as I practised a lot and I was able to do it consistently. It just wouldn't work over the gap unusually.
It's a very late double jump and then thrust forward at the peak of your jump (also don't hold R1 when you reach the ledge or you will fall). Timing is everything and make sure you jump from the very edge of the platform!
@@machr293Also one thing. There are a lot of useful glitches in the game. There is a guy called "Smathlax", you can search his channel in RU-vid. He recently documented all these glitches. You can check it out. We can probably get more seeds without plates with those glitches!
